Great pic's Frank and Lynn. I like the boots. May have to consider something like that if I can't get used to the CR.

Cute girlfriend Jody. Where was her bike or did you guys go 2up.

Dan and I did a nice 90 mile ride today. Didn't need the heated gear. I do feel like a bear tho with all the extra clothes on. Can't wait to get naked, only kidding.

Frank, WHAT, you guys were talking while riding. Can't be. They do work great tho, don't they.

Here's some pic's of our day. Can't wait to get together with all as the weather warms up.

This is down at Palmer Lake

Lynn you look GREAT on your bike. I am very proud of you. I can't wait to ride with you.

I had to have my son put my kickstand up today cause we were on the gravel driveway and I couldn't get a good handle on the ground. I did OK when I was on pavement tho. Dan putting that little addition to my stand definitely helps.

Does Jody have a new girlfriend or is she the one from Aspen? : )

Ryan, I've got a call to my friend, had to leave a message for her to call me back. She's kinda spacey so I hope she does call back. Otherwise I'll just keep trying.

Julie, near the end of our ride I got a beep every 10 to 15 minutes from the Interphone. I can find no indication of what that means in the manual. I figured it meant the battery was getting low. Do you have any ideas?

As far as Jody's girlfriend she is a sweetheart, not the same one from Aspen.

Ryan, glad you got your bike back together. I will be working on the S2T tomorrow fixing the front speedo sensor which will require me to remove the front wheel.

Frank

Frank. That beeping sound does mean that the batteries are running low and soon to get disconnected in no more than another half hour. They usually last about 4 hours. If we stop for a while, we'll go ahead and turn them off. Dan actually has auxillary power outlet that he set up under the seats of all our bikes so if we are in having lunch they can be charging with the car charger We also have a second set of them too

Congrat's Jody. Don't be mad at Lynn. Glad you have a girlfriend to enjoy life with

Did Dan make the aux power cable for the interphone or did he purchase it somewhere. I checked the blueant page and do not see anything like that. Thanks for the info Julie... That beeping went on for a good 40 minutes... LOL

Frank, just wait till you got to do yours. Oh man, what a pain. Damn things don't line up when putting to together, but with what I learned on this one the next should be easier. I put the American Sport Bike heat shield on mine so I'm curious to see if I notice a difference. Never had any issues before, but ya never know. Cheap insurance.

Thanks again Jewels.

Dang, I've got a reputation.

We rode two up on the 1125 and it was much more comfortable than on the XB9. After Frank and Lynn split off to go back to Fountain we ended up riding towards Bishops Castle. It got pretty cold near the pass and we turned around and headed back. My engine is now officially out of the break-in period - WEE!

It is nice to have someone to enjoy life with. And it is nice to have good friends to ride with. Sue really liked Frank and Lynn and that is a must for me.

I put more miles on the bicycle yesterday than I did on the buell. Will try to get a longer ride in today. Julie, I really like the looks of your bike with the red air box cover and the mirrors. (Dan needs to get rid of his stock mirrors) glad everyone had a fun day yesterday.

Ryan, here it is http://www.myblueant.com/products/headsets/interph one/index.php

Not cheap but I got two units for 200 total. One for 125 and another one for 75 here on the badweb.

Yes it works great.

But Frank, talking to each other while riding, "I'm sorry". : )

Dan said the car charger adaptor can be purchased from Mobilecity.com or blutechguy.com. These two companies sell a lot of blueant accessories.

John, I was actually thinking about changing the colors on the CR to white, but I think I'm getting to really like the cherry bomb airbox on there. As soon as these tires wear out, Dan will put the red wheels on to complete to color change.

I'm trying to talk him into letting me buy some race slicks. He found some on the internet for $300 for a pair of Michelan Pilot power slicks (NOT DOT APPROVED). Maybe, maybe!!!!!!!!!!!

How are the roads up your way, John. Maybe I can talk Dan into going out again today. He's looking at me like I'm nuts. He's created a monster in me when it comes to these bikes. If he had never gotten a Buell I never would have known. (I had the CR up to 108mph yesterday, but don't tell anyone LOL)

It's a shame that some of us are so far away from each other. I took my wife (Lori) out for about a three hour ride on the Uly yesterday.

It was a scenic tour of the metro area...from Westminster to downtown Denver, down Broadway to Highlands Ranch, back around the west to downtown Morrison, back roads up to Red Rocks, I-70 out to Genesee to Lookout Mtn, with a stop at Buffalo Bill's Grave, then down the east side of Lookout Mtn (the switchback laden road) to downtown Golden, then finally back to Westminster (where I had parked the trailer) via the back roads to pick up the kids who were at friends houses.

I would have posted some pictures...but the camera was in my side bags...and the keys were at home! Whoops!!

I thought about taking the 1125 out today solo...but I have some mountain chores to do (cutting up some trees).

I so wish I could be out riding today. Bike is almost back together though. Just finished getting the muffler back on and getting that @!#&@$*%@#^ battery strap back in place. Just have to get the pods back on and do a quick resistance check on the low fuel light to see if the resistor is messed up on it. Oh, and an oil change. Think, maybe another hour or 2.

We're getting ready to go out for a short ride again today. Hope you get your bike running soon, Ryan. I still haven't heard back from my friend in Steamboat. I'll try again later tonite. You could try calling the Chamber of Commerce to see if they have any info also.

Just got back from our Palmer Lake ride, did another 90 miles. Have 533 miles, just shy of the break in period. Soon, very soon.
(hit 111mph today: ))

111mph, how much would that ticket be?????

Just kidding Julie. Be safe out there....

I got out for a little ride on the S2T after putting it back together (replaced speedo cable and speedo drive when I figured out the Speedo was bad so I replaced that as well).

While I had the dash off I added a gps then took her for a little ride (25 miles maybe) and got to pass a couple of HDs, fun.

Too bad I didn't catch up with the Castle Rock Buellers today. I took a nice run south and passed the 800 mile mark on my R today. Hopefully, the weather will hold and I can see about meeting you other Buellers here in the Rock.

Julie,
Yes, bike impounded and you go to jail and large fines. Watch out for the Policia but have fun too. Rode the bicycle (mt. bike) today over to Golden, up lookout mt. and a loop around the top and down along 70. I just cannot pass up getting my bicycle ride in on days like this, this time of year, oh well. No buell today but for sure tomorrow.

Yeah I think about that as I'm accelerating. There's one road I do this on and it's a long straight rural road. Don't see police there very often and you can see for a long distance.

Gotta get on the track and get it out of my system. : ). Dan just rolls his eyes at me.

I'm trying to talk him into going dirt biking next weekend. We may have a 3 day weekend. The only problem is we don't want to un-winterize the toy hauler quite yet. There still much more winter. This has just been a tease.

Finally, 1125R is back together. 12,400 mile maint is complete. Well, I skipped on the forks, will get those at the next one.

During my time in there I made a few changes. I added the American Sport Bike heat barrier and installed the pig tails for my battery maintainer. Now my bike will live on a battery maintainer while it's not in use. I'll let you all know about how the American Sport Bike heat barrier works.

I'm planning on riding tomorrow if the weather is good. Off of work due to MLK day. Besides, I want to see how the 062 flash is for my 08 1125R.
