Still trying to figure out if I can get the time off, and thinking about leaving early to mid afternoon on the 13th.... maybe stopping off at Barber Museum.... haven't gotten too much planned out beyond that, gonna be high mileage days...

I've only done one other long trip like this, Orlando to Boston... that was an adventure and a half. Broke down in New York and had to have my brother come get me with the truck for the last leg of the trip.

Company would have been welcome... hell a cell phone would have been welcome on that one. Ride and learn : )

I am in the Tampa area and am just now beginning to plan for this. A quick map said it is almost 1300 miles from here to the hotel. I am thinking 2 days up and 2 days back. They will be fairly serious riding days. I would like to take longer, but I don't think I can spare more vacation days. I probably won't leave until Tuesday, getting there on Thursday. I might leave on Monday instead, it just depends on what all is planned for Thursday and how may vacation days go.

So...if anyone is interested in riding together let me know.

My plan now is to leave Tampa Monday morning, ride to the Louisville, KY area where my sister lives and spend Tuesday with her. I will leave Wednesday morning to head on to Homecoming, getting in Wednesday evening sometime. I'll see you all there. If anyone wants to meet up with me along the way send me a PM.
