Duff, you would be proud of me today.. well not really... pulled a huge wheelie on my bike.. but it came up faster then i wanted and i didnt ride it out.. infact i ended up smashing and dragging my brake light all the way off, and really tore the piss out of my tag, grinded up the white plastic tail too, Then it came down hard and bucked me off.. and layed over on its left side.. ended up snapping the left mirror off, scuffed up my clutch lever, end of my grip, and my shifter lever to a hit.. Oh ya by the had a girl on the back too.. she fell off.. and no it wasnt the pregnant girl...UGH what a day.. | ||

Holy crap that sucks! Musta came up a little quicker than you thought from the extra weight on the back? Sounds like everybody survived atleast. Sometimes tryin to impress the ladies bites you in the arse!  | ||

Ya it came up real fast from the weight.. funny thing is wasnt trying to impress anyone.. was just taking off down the street after leaving a friends house..Hit the gas.. let the clutch go and away we went.. then it came up.. all the way up.. road it till the tail hit the ground then she slipped off the back landing on her hands and knees... i let off and then it came down and bucked me off i landed on my feet.. then the bike layed over on it left side.. sucked so bad..but ya nothing serious.. | ||

As for the group sale.. as many times as i banged my bike up.. i could use another one to play with.. Im thinking 1125r though.. but if a cheap 08, 09 or 10 was 12r was infront of me.. yay id take it!! | ||

Does anyone here have an 1125 CR they'd like to let me test drive? I am REALLY tempted to buy one at that awesome price....I have a price worked out at Topeka H-D but they don't have a bike for me to test. I'd hate to go to Gail's a test their bike and say See Ya!!! | ||

Next question....anyone here familiar with Ducati bikes? I have an '06 S2R 800. I love my current bike, but am REALLY tempted by the awesome price of that 1125CR. I like the looks of the CR, I was ready to buy an XB12STT when I came across a deal on the Monster. I would eventually have to sell the Monster outright. Is that price worth the trouble of selling my bike (nicely set-up) and starting over with a stock 1125CR???? Anyone know if Lawrence or Topeka are still servicing Buells? Im about to need my 12k valve job done on the 1125. Or any Buell techs wanna make a little side cash? Me and Ratfink pulled the motor out of his bike and ill be damned if im doin that shit on mine.....we looked like 2 monkeys. |
