Wouldn't be the first time cold tires bit you in the butt.  Jackson, We may have had a day or two in the 50's,but usually the next day is back in the 70's.........It's so hard to dress for this weather, short sleeve Tee or long sleeve.  | ||

Honky, the 20th is a Sunday, I've tried that before. Let's make it a floating day, so we can get a day where the wind is manageable. I have a pretty flexible schedule right now ya know. I always seem to underestimate that memory of yours Charlie. It was quite comical to see NUTS wobbling through the corners, terrified of sliding off even the slightest camber. | ||

Its all good Charlie. I'll remember the flip flops next time I sit out on the deck and look at the Blue Ridge Mountains. I still say we should switch Charlie. I hate it up here and you don't really like SC so we can do a house swap. Nows the time to cause I'm getting new ceilings in the basement after an epic water pipe failure yesterday. Jackson, you'd do anything to get out of painting. I kinda like the winters down here, my arthritis can't handle the cold anymore.But the rest of the time you can have this place. You have to ride for at least three hours just to find a decent road to enjoy and the traffic is overwhelming. | ||

Taking the bike out on this beautiful winter day. Knobby tires make all the rain yesterday fun. Nearly bailed it though, through one of these creeks when I hit a rock and came to a sudden stop; mid-stream!  I got a thinkin that the turtlehugger's gonna unload the ATV for another dirtbike here soon. NUTS | ||

Nay my good man! The ATV gets me into the prime snake spots at the club and hauls my fat out of shape self to the choice hunting spots that Burley and his brethren haven't the wind to make it to. If a bike is in my future its gonna be a street model that attracts much attention from the fair haired young lasses. Isn't that a sign of the times right there? Put a middle aged fat dude on a good looking bike and he can still get attention | ||

Well it is what it is. But don't you worry about frost bite with all those nails sticking out of your body.  If you hooked a battery tender to a couple of those studs.......would it keep your face warm when your sitting out in one of those driving snow storms you get in the mountains. | ||

Haven't tried the battery tender yet Charlie although the idea has merit! I have noticed that when its cold snot likes to have a party on the nose ring and by the time I get back to the truck I got a booger on it that any 8 year old would be proud to own  | ||

Tank, watcha want for the DR? I need another bike to let my brother take out to Colorado and back this summer. Is it a 6 speed? The DR isn't my first choice but with the right mods it could be a viable option for this trip. NUTS Honkson, your inability to return calls is astounding. Nuts, The "Mutant" is ready for battle, could use a couple of new tires but times are tight. You need to take Jackson(Studs) under wing,he has sunk to sitting in the woods playing with buggers.  He needs his sidekick back. | ||

Charlie, my wife and I closed on our new home yesterday and I began moving some items over this morning. First item into the new workshop was a set of motorcycle tires with 8500 miles on them. Followed immediately by a set with 4600 on them. I'll be moving all of my toys over today and might take the motorbike for a spin through the front yard! NUTS | ||

Nuts, asking $3k. 5 speed tranny. But a guy at work says he might want both the 650 and the 250. He's trying to work it out with his brother. If that falls out, I'll let ya know! What more "mods" does it need? Already done: slightly massaged carb for throttle response lower gearing for creepy-crawlin stiffer springs and heavier fluid in front stock rear shock custom re-worked for 3-way adjustability and dont forget the custom scratched front fender and rt side plate!!  | ||

Tank, here's hoping you get someone to take em both. Charlie, there's only an acre out front. There's a little stream running along the road that needs hopping and a few trees on the hill that need careening around too. |
