Update on Mike , as we enter week three of his visit in a Morgantown hospital ! At the end of last week , Mike got an infection and fluid in his chest. They installed two drains in his chest and also find that his spleen is badly damaged . They finally removed it this past Thursday. His wife Sarah said he is in a lot of pain. He was told if his fever and infection subsides he could possibly come home this Wedesday !!!!!
Fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just there today and they thought he would get to head home tomorrow.... but that was around 11:30... I guess they decided to keep him a extra day.... BUMMER.

I know he is ready to get the hell out of there. NO SLEEP is kicking his butt

I returned his gear to him and met his Father..... long ride but it was worth it

Glad to say, Mike is home in Northern Maryland !!! He is glad to be home , but still has a lot of healing to go . I talked to him today and he could only talk a couple of minutes , you know talking,breathing and rib pain to much multitasking for him right now.
