Right now, the Hammertime crew is gathering in the driving rain out in Montgomery, NY....and I'm off to the shop to get brake pads for tomorrow. God bless 'em, today...esp. all those riders who came in from several hours away in this stuff. This Headless horseman run really brings out the stalwart enthusiasts, and the best in all of the participants. Dinner is going to be great. Holly has been baking and cooking all of yesterday and last night, and I know Liz has been at it preparing the main courses. Hammer's route is going to be spectacular following a lot of the Hudson Valley's secret back roads. I can't wait to hear their stories, tonight. | ||

Yep- It's the Steve McQueen commemorative edition from Interstate. If you mount it on an old BSA 250 Gold star painted kraut feldgrau , it can jump concertina barricades in a single bound. | ||

If anyone would still like shirts (Yours are paid-for and in the mail, Greg), let me know , as we sold out on the morning of the event (!). If we make a second order, they'll be a little more expensive due to lower quantity, but shouldn't exceed $20.00 or so, if we order, say, 8 more. Let me know at Horsemanrun5@gmail.com, otherwise, we'll just wait until next year's run, along with our Springtime Buellapalooza. in that case a big thank you for my comp shirt... by the way, the "younger crowd" apparently likes the design as well. as i came in the house on sunday and proudly showed off my run shirt my 18yr old daughter jumped up, grabbed it, and took off to her room announcing that she was wearing it to school on monday! i'm not sure i'll ever see it again. | ||
