DOZ!!!! That sucks- You've NEVER missed a run...I feel lousy about this. You were definitely missed at the end chow. For next year, we'll definitely have a little longer meet & greet on the mountain, to give folks time more to show up and take a squirt before getting back on their saddles after hours on the road....AND map printouts will be distributed, as well, so stragglers can find the pack at later points. Great to see you even for a quick minute, up on Perkins |

Definitely a good run despite the, eh, misfortunes... Dunch or Lunner or Lupper or whatever it was good as well. Can't wait for next year. Are we seriously thinking about a Spring/early summer event? It'd be nice to see some folks more than once a year. |

Spring event is definitely happening. An annual Springtime Buellapalooza "Shad Run" is sorely needed after recent events regarding HD/Buell.... Your Hudson Valley Crew is on it. |

Nah, the S*O*A are a Scarsdale chapter. Good guys. They throw a mean fundraiser. |

Plus, the *S*O*A* charter states that members must need trace their ancestry back to the british crown, whereas the gritty *S*O*M* charter requires only proof-of-lineage from any world crown....or fine prep school. The badass side rockers proudly worn by members reveal prep school names (eg: "Deerfield"). *S*O*M* is a very tough bunch that hosts far superior luncheons at the union club & larchmont country club, et al. Note the member in Johnnylunchbox's photo, above, sporting the coveted "RLR" patch on his black (senior member) jacket. This signifies his membership in the "Ralph Lauren Riders" crew within the club, the meanest and most dangerous element of *S*O*M*. I'm a little concenned that JLB even posted this without obscuring these members' faces. (Message edited by tramp on October 27, 2009) |

Nice pics, it's a shame that we rarely get pics of the beautiful twisties, etc., being as our attention is diverted to riding it out. Looks like it was a brilliant route, though...wish i could have made the actual ride part of the run! |
