Super availability of parts.............

And lets not forget there RACING history...

I REALLY can't see how this is happening either....


Worst part IMO of this is there are a bunch of Americans out of work at a bad time in our economy due to this......

There is one less bike maker on the track to run around with... Especially with the good season they had....

Personally kinda bummed about it.... and I don't even drink the Kool-Aid, or wear the blinders....

I guess my Buell is my last bike I'll ever own...... if i can keep it running for ever.... As soon as my wife and get a house i was going to buy a brand spankin new Buell, thats not gonna happen now....... If only I could afford to get one now. Any one got some $$ they want to give me???

Along came a spider Riding his Buell. Who cares about production if they still sell parts,you already own a buell,like the bike,enjoy riding it etc. what does it matter? I think someday they will reintroduce it just like the Camaro Maybe?

My heart go out to the employees and families that trully loved and were the biggest advocates of this brand.

The decision will result in a reduction over time of about 80 hourly production positions and about 100 salaried positions at Buell. Employment will end for a majority of Buell employees Dec. 18, 2009.

Harley-Davidson, Inc. expects to incur approximately $125 million in one-time costs related to the discontinuation of the Buell product line. The Company expects to incur approximately $115 million of that amount this year.
