Hopefully our next party is a house warming. So far the closing is set for end of October.
Maybe next Spring I can tell my wife "honey, a bunch of my Buell friends that I met on-line are coming over for Beer and Burgers."

Update from Matt Britt's father.
"Okay, three weeks, 3 days into this marathon. It’s been a very eventful week with highs and lows. The highs and best news is that Matt came off of the heart lung machine last Thursday, which is a huge milestone!!!! We feared he would not be able to. So, that was our best day this week. The next big hurdle is weaning him from the ventilator. Slowly the nurses and respiratory therapists are tweaking this and resetting that to see what works best for him. Again, there are obstacles to his progress in one form or another. But we are hopeful, because Matt keeps fighting and taking “baby steps” to get well. "

Fish - baby steps are good! Our prayers will continue to include Matt and his family.

FYI - I've moved the "But Seriously Ride" to our Adventure Folder so it doesn't get lost in QB archives.

Carlos loaded up the Uly this AM and headed to work....he sucks! I take 3 kids on the first run to school and then come back and get 2 more for the high school run and off to work I go. Too bad I can't justify coming back home for the Blast!

Praying for good weather this weekend. Webeblastgirl and I have a date on the range this weekend. I need to work on my slow speed maneuvers.

Got the answer - and you would not be telling any teeny white lies. : )
When I lived in Sacto and got to ride to work, one afternoon one of the docs came to my office and said, looks like it will be raining about 5:00, hope you have your rain gear. Me, more for wanting to get off w*rk early than for worrying about rain riding, replied, oh dear, and I have to make two trips when I leave here to pick up my kids at school and day care, one trip to pick up the 8 year old, then another to pick up the 7 year old who holds the 4 year old in between us....
Worked like a charm. Once.
The next day I got asked by at least three people - Didn't know you had kids?!
Sounds like you could get five mini rides outta the morning. : D

The one in the middle with the painted fairing and bags is Vern's (Etennuly). He is the one that painted the fairing that is on Carlos' bike.

Amanda spotted an S2 near Lynn & Creedmore. Anyone here?

I was very impressed that she can recognize an S2, I'm not sure I can differentiate most of the tubers.

A question of reality.

It was very cool to see the 1125 featured nearly full screen in HD on CSI Miami. I can't say I made as much noise as 13 did. And I'm sure it cost a few bucks for that prime time product placement.
But am I way off base thinking that in a real family where the dad drives a Bentley, isn't more like the brat would be riding an over priced MV, Ducatti, or Aprillia?
