I will go to biker's for babies... But I doubt I do the ride. I love walking around looking at the bikes. I HATE riding in a group of 5,000+ bikes. It is a slow, boring, old man ride (and I always have visions of domino's when I see those f*ckers riding in formation). | ||

I am may do the B4B if i am in town I will ride out there, for sure. At the same time if people are wanting to ride in the B4B, maybe as a group we can ride the route in reverse. Alot less traffic and not as many slow riders that way. Just an idea. | ||

I've ridden it every year for the last 4 and never had an issue with it being slow or boring, but then I have no problem passing people or riding my own ride whether in a group or not. It's a good time and a good cause. It is amazing to see the number of bikes in front and behind when you crest a hill. I would encourage everyone to give it a shot. If you find out that you hate it, you can always depart the ride and head back for lunch on your own or just bug out altogether. | ||

those of you that ride ks hwy5 into Lansing use caution I was riding yesterday and started to ride that hwy and found they were putting down a new layer seal coat using tar and gravel so I would avoid it for a month or so until the gravel has been packed and cleaned off the road. | ||

I'm back on a bike! I went to the dark side, but at least it is two wheels. Maybe I'll get to ride it a couple times before it is to cold.... I'd like to meet up with you guys again if there is a good day between now and the end of the year when I leave for Austin....   It's an 06 GSXR 1000 with 7,800 miles on it. I picked it up for $5,500. I decided to buy a bike up here during the winter sell off instead of waiting until I got to Austin and paying more. |
