Chuck: P/N's W/O Shoulder (S/B for the front 2 screws) AA0404.11XDBL With Shoulder (Side screws, Air box etc) CA0012.02A8 Both screws are 1/4-20 threads, button head with a T-27 drive. Give these numbers to your "friendly" Parts guy and see what happens. Later Neil S. FYI: 1125r/ cr screws of this type are 6mm x 1.0 (I think) metric, black in color and have a T-30 NOT T-27 drive socket | ||

i called the dealership and gave them the part numbers for the bolts and there was no trouble getting them this time. idk what the deal was the first time when i came up there in person. oh well go figure. | ||

2 Close in TN! Let me just warn you all about a woman driver in a black Toyota Celica GT, TN plate 194 LWP (Smith County). This morning on Hwy 25 westbound from 231, she passed in a no passing zone cresting a hill on a right hand turn (What can be worse!). I was behind a Lexus running about 60, and saw these headlights bearing down on me rapidly in the mirrors on my 1125. I just knew she was going to pass so I backed off and gave her room. She comes around me and is along side the Lexus when an on coming car crest’s the hill and rounds the corner! This woman didn’t even touch her brakes and the on coming car had to run off the road down into the ditch! My only saving grace was that I “felt” this whole scenario developing and backed off ~50 yards to give her some space if she wanted to back out or, give me room if the worst case 3 car accident developed. I followed her into Gallatin and that’s where I got her tag and noticed: A) She is between 25 and 30. B) Works in the medical field (wearing scrubs and trying to untangle her ID from her mirror and all the beads. C) She is a smoker. D) Has a radar detector on her dash. Today I was about 15-20 mins early from my regular schedule and now I know who and what to look for and avoid. So where were all the LEO’s when I need them? This is the closest I have come to a major accident in years! My heart was pounding for a long time this morning. BEWARE, very aware of all around you! | ||
