anyone in the DFW area with an 1125R or CR? I need or would like to find someone local who point me in the right direction tuning this bike since Dyno Jet does not support it I am at a loss. tried a pipe on it but it messed with the fueling pretty bad so I put the stock one back on for now. Thanks for any help.

I'm certainly biased, but I'd say my hometown fits that bill perfectly. Go, Mansfield.

Also, you may want to take a look at west/southwest Arlington, too. It's right in the middle of everything, and has everything. It's built out, but it's nicer than most other one-time suburbs that have now become extensions of the city (but Mansfield's better!).

Edit: That stuff about Arlington didn't sound so good.

I'm thinking about coming out to the Que party... I"ll probably be working so I'll be out around 5 or so... I don't know if I'll ride the Buell or Honda... Paul, send me an email if there's anything I could bring... If I"m on the Honda, I can carry a bit more stuff... I"m not much of a beer drinker but I"ll bring some diet coke...

I have a friend who is selling a D&D exhaust for a XB and a Low Seat for a XBs. The D&D exhaust was installed by the dealer and removed be me after only 515 miles. He wants $450 for it. The Low Seat has only 2 – 300 miles on it and he wants $50 for it. If you want one of them and your coming to the BBQ or know someone close to you who is, let me know by Friday and I’ll have them at the BBQ.

I know this was originally a XBLIGHTS/DARKHORSE event - just wondering if anyone from DARKHORSE will be there and if so are you going to have any t-shirts available to buy?

Eryk,
Welcome to the Buell family. You’re right across the lake from the BBQ. If your Buell could float you’d be about 5 miles away. Just take FM 718 from 287 towards Newark and Auroro. Go 9 miles to CR 4668 and turn left. Go 1.7 miles to it dead ends into FM 730. Turn left on FM 730. Go 8.3 miles to Moran Rd. Turn left on Moran Rd. Go 1.7 miles to 11554 Moran Rd. Starts at 2pm until ?
If you’d like me to pick up some beer or anything else so you can ride your bike let me know.
Paul

Here’s the menu for the BBQ:
Smoked chicken, potato salad, baked beans, corn on the cob, rolls and peach cobbler. And for the discriminating palate hot dogs and chips.

And don’t worry about the Indy Race at Texas Motor Speedway. I’ve been to the June IRL race and you can drive right to the track. The only traffic is in the parking lot after the race. Once you reach the public roads you’re gone. The race doesn’t start till 8pm. I also think the George Strait concert may draw some of the crowd from the race.
The moon looked great last night, Saturday’s going to be beautiful.

I appreciate the offer, but unless you have an odd preference, like diet cherry coke, I think we're ok.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I MISSED it!

Nailed a ~300lb. boar on Friday night & had the loins & hams ready to go, but couldn't get back up this way in time.

Hope you all had a good time and someone took pics to share.

This was on my buddy's ranch outside Corsicana, which is ~60 miles south of Dallas. It's Russian Boar w/ a 'lil bit of domestic pig mixed in somewhere along the line.

Haven't seen much Javelina around here, but a LOT of wild pigs.

Turn out was small, but it was a REALLY good time!!!

Paul, took us out on a 33' sail boat. My first time, it was awesome! I didn't know it, but he is a pro at handling sail boats!
Countless times I thought we were about to smack something.... Nope, not even close for that pro!

First day of relaxation in a long while!
Thanks again Paul!

I hope everyone get through the storm in 1 piece last night.

Had to help a friend drag his BBQ Grill/Smoker out of the deep end of his pool last night. That was 'fun'.

As Robert said the BBQ had a small turn-out, but we had good conversations and a great moonlit sail. It was nice meeting new riders and seeing familiar ones.

Eryk, glad you were able to come out for awhile.

Bart, sorry you missed it. Are these new Buell riders on the Bad Web?

Phil, a lot of wind and rain but no damage at my place. Received over 4” of rain.

Kevin, the marina you saw is at the southern most end of the lake. It’s Eagle Mountain Marina where the floating restaurant is that we heard music coming from. We were at the entrance of the marina when we turned and headed back north to West Bay Marina where the sailboat is slipped. Eagle Mt. Marina has been subject to wind damage at least 2 other times I can think of. The other marinas on the lake don’t seem to have any problems.

Now I need to get those new components in my old frame.

Frinzo,
There is a Texas Hill Country Storm Front but it's seldom used. They do use a Yahoo Group named HellBuellies - Hill Country HellBuellies.
