I do not know what it is about SV1000s. A buddy from work who also has a Blast, had a bad accident on his Suzuki when a woman turned in front of him. He has been out for several weeks and has just returned to work. He's asking about the Uly.

Matt is climbing his mountain now even if it looks like he is lying still.

Anybody headed to VIR this weekend?


As usual, my parents timing is perfect! They are spending tonight in Kernersville and should arrive here sometime tomorrow afternoon. When my Mom called tonight she said they were going to sleep in tomorrow. How late can a couple of retirees sleep in? Since they usually stick around for about a week, I'm not going to be able to make VIR. I should've remembered since Jordan mentioned it to me when I saw him at NJMP, but in all honesty the date of my parents visit was set before I even left for NJMP.

Oh yeah, speaking of NJMP, here are a few of my pics of the journey and experience. Since I can't top the masses, I won't try and will give a little different view from my experiences.
I met Spectrum in Wilson Thursday night around 11:00 p.m. We got a hotel and when the sun was up the next morning I realized there was a small graveyard out back. So, of course, I had to take a short tour of it.
Am I the only one that sees the smiley face in this?

Thanks I appreciate the thoughts, I am definitely looking forward to this weekend. I love that track and I need to do some racing and as long as all goes well I will be wrapping up 4 regional championships(Supertwins, heavyweight superbike, thunderbike, and GTO). Then we will be off to daytona to get some national championships.
I look forward to riding with you as well Mike.

Keep in mind, in true VIR fashion (which is an expensive place to run), there will likely be a gate fee. Probably $10-15 for one day. If someone knows otherwise, please post.

Looks like I'll have two practice session on Sat. a.m.; then race Formula 40 (7 laps) and GTO (25 min).

Sunday, one practice session then I'll probably race Heavyweight Superbike (7 laps), probably around 10:30 a.m.; and, SuperTwins (7 laps)in the afternoon.

Still critical but stable in the ICU.
He was improved enough that they could feed him. He is a skinny 6'2" and maybe 140# soaking wet so he didn't have any weight to lose.

Someone asked me what class Buell races in. Is it strictly v-twin classes of is it open with 4 bangers too?
