If you guys make June 15th have fun and get some video. I obviously will not make it since I will just be returning Sunday from 3 days of great eastern oregon riding to Baker city and back. I think I will be in a resting mood Monday. I may come out and watch though. |

Stopped by PIR today during business travels from Longview down to Albany. Chatted with Dave after his post-lunch B group session. Dave was tearing up Turn 9 on that sweet red 1125R, and I confirmed that he put some heat in the tires after he rolled into the pits.
Man, I was jealous today! Can't wait for another trackday... I'd even ride my Beemer if necessary. Speaking of which, there were actually two BMW riders in C group: one on a K1200S and another guy on K1200RS. For the non-BMW-familiar, the K1200RS is the '98+ sport touring bike that looks fairly sleek, but at 615lb isn't exactly flickable!
Also saw the guy on the new 1100 Monster. Nice bike. Looked pretty small under the tall rider. Still, better man-machine proportions than Yours Truly on the XB9 Shriner-cycle.

Weather was good for it today. Would have loved to have been there. I'm in for Aug 17th.
On the plus side, I picked up some heated grips for my xb, so if I can't put heat in the tires, I can at least put it into my hands. mmm TOASTY

WOW! those are cool pics. I had a great day. Top speed @ 160; est lap time 1:22. The 1125r runs great and smoked the aprilia and RC51. Oh yea a couple of jappers.
The leather suit was in the batcave. |
