Spudman, Galen, Paul and myself will be in Ione or Metaline Falls Saturday night, I have a route to Coulee Dam, but not sure if the rest will do the same route, I think we are going up to the border to meetup with the group Sunday morning around 10:30am | ||

Sorry I couldn't join the US group today, life sucks. Trixie and I were splitting wood yesterday and she twisted her knee real bad. So I stayed home to nurse a hop-along grandma. Not my idea of a good time but it is what it was. Hope everyone had an enjoyable ride today. I'll just have to chase you down some other time. | ||

MG back in Bend 5:45 Monday, exhausted & content - 1622 miles total and still have some tire rubber to spare. Thanks to our Canadian organizers for the biggest, longest border raid ever... Mad Dogs & Englishman, Free Beer, Old & New Friends, Blowin' in the Wind, Great Scenic Roads, Dams 'n Ferrys... Stories were made and will be told in the future!  Michael | ||

Home at 9pm Tuesday. Fell asleep at 9pm last night in Pt Townsend. Guess i needed that. We did Hurricane Ridge today, 17 miles kinda like Windy Ridge but newer pavement and slightly wider. Almost the whole way in second gear. No traffic up but plugged going down and pretty much no passing opportunities. What a great weekend. You guys (and gals) are the best! We saw a couple of T-shirts in Pt. Townsend that would have been appropriate if they'd had motorcycles on them. One with a mountainbiker doing a huge leap, saying," Its only death-defying if you survive." And another with a hiker leaping a huge crevesse saying, "Confidence is the feeling you have until you understand the entire situation." I won't say who came to mind when we saw them. | ||

Hello everyone, I had a great time riding. Just hope I wasn't to slow for ya. Hope to be invited next year also. By then I should be a lot faster and should be able to keep up. I want to thank Dave Pears, and Pete for sticking back in the back with me, even though they didn't have to. Just want to let everyone know that we got home from border raid at 1:30 and 2:30. Thanks for the offer, Paul. We were waffling whether to go to Seattle for the night or the Penisula until we got to the crossroads and had to decide. Dinner at the brew pub in PT was a big attraction to that plan and we wouldn't have had energy after dinner to go any farther anyway. But we'll keep you in mind for future visits to the hood. You all do the same, eh? | ||
