what's this about a buell rally, in pagosa springs? there's nothing about it on the buell website. Is it being put on by the Colorado Buellers?
I was just up there last month for the S2 gathering and heard nothing about it...

LOL, I see. Are you still calling it the Taos rally? Did you guys get tired of riding New Mexico's roads? Whats up with that??

Also, just an FYI, Bruno is selling the Alpine Moose Lodge in Lake City. : (
Not sure if he will be around next year so you may want to get up there and enjoy some of his great cooking...

Great pics Kim. I just signed up for the Chicane Track Days at Pueblo for Aug 16.If it goes well I would like to do it again in Sept. I'm trying to get 3 track days in every summer. I figure the more experience I have the better I'll be on the street (on my bike of course)

Thanks. No he didn't pass me. He was one of the instructors, he was making a point about my corner entry speed and showing where he could gain on me. The reoccurring comment from all three schools is that I'm braking too hard before each corner. I need to carry more speed into them.

I got down to 1 min lap times at Sandia this past weekend. It's killing me that I can't seem to break under that minute barrier. I was so close... 1.00.23

You are going to like the Chicane track days. Scott runs a great event. I wish I wasn't working that day, or I would come up there for it. I'm planning on being up there for the Aug 8-9 race weekend. It will be the third race in the WOW (Women of the West) series. The Ladies of the Rockies grid should have almost 15 women.

How did we end up with a NM / CO Buell rally on the same weekend as an SMRI track day and race day weekend??

SFHD/B was signed up for two track days earlier in the year. Now the SMRI site doesn't show the second one any more. SFHD must have pulled out.

Yup, I'm racing that weekend.

But, it looks like I won't be racing in CO anymore this year. I heard today that the Aug 8-9 race weekend was canceled.

I just might try to hit UT the next weekend and race at Miller.

We need to get CJ back out on a track day so that I can practice my passing...

Well, I have a two hour run on Saturday morning that'll take me at least that long to recover from. Sunday morning, I'm the lector in church. Monday I'm going to try to paint the patio thing in my yard in the morning. When did you want to go? Maybe we could do an afternoon ride on Sunday or something? I just got new tires on, so I'm good to go.

We're doing the HWY 191 ride again in September, riding up on the 11th, doing 191 on the 12th, and heading home on the 13th.
It would be nice to watch YOUR tail light for a change Kim. ; )

I am actually off that weekend.... Hum, I had been thinking about racing in Deming that weekend, but I'd really like to ride that road again.

Nah, not much chance of my being in front of you on the trumpet... I love that bike, but it is a bit of cow when it comes to corning, and it really needs better suspension.
