HA HA HA, thanks Rat. I am old and married I have way to much crap going all the time. If you all do go out this Saturday I should be in town, unless the painter has the tins done for the chop. The motor is all back together just waiting the paint (as always). I am in and I should be on the beater s1. | ||

Whats up Matt...and TIM! Things are going good down in Oklahoma. I am pretty much healed up now. Say 95%. I still ride...but not near as much as I would like. I'll pick it up a lot more this fall. | ||

It WAS hot, but I think I was much cooler wearing my Buell Adventure Jacket & pants combo that zip together. (READ: Vents in arms, sides, back, legs) Had I gone down, I may have wished I had on leathers though! The guys I was there with were wearing full leathers and pouring sweat after their sessions. (First track day for me. Will be investing in some leathers in the future.) I had a blast on the Uly! Scraped my left peg twice (first time ever). Spooked me at first, because I didn't realize I was THAT far over. Only thing that kinda sucked is that I didn't have enough giddy-up & go on the straights to pass the riders that I kept catching up to and getting stuck behind. I'm sure that once my skills improve a little more that I'll be able to time it just right and slingshot past them, but I wasn't to that point yet. (Just kept wishing I was on the 1125R when I left the corners!) | ||
