Thank god for small favors...You better watch what you wish for...Frank Chase's old viffer is still up at Carl's...And you know what kind of care Frank takes...It's already pinstriped...

Let's start keeping our eyes out for a used Coats 220...I have a new price of $976.00...Or try and buy it wholesale from one of your resources...See what kind of wholesale price we could get...Do you agree that this is the "best" of the manual changers?...

And John, you were right all interstate to Tucson is about 1470 but there is a cutoff that Bill takes that puts it at 1401 miles but I don't know if saving 69 miles by driving 377 miles off the interstate is worth it...

See Ya!

Think about it Bob, of all the people you ride with, isn't John the most mechanically inclined? Isn't John the one with the tools when roadside repairs are called for? Isn't John the one who completely 'undid' his S3 and then 'redid' it and is still riding?

Who better to manage the eccentricities of a Buell?

If John had an S2, I'm guessing that it would be as reliable of even more reliable than the S3...or are you thinkin' that the S2, with a few of John's tweaks would be a match for...?

From personal experience, at a buck twenty, the S2 is singin'!

I 'think' John would do well on an S2. Just MHO though.

How was the ride? I needed to host a birthday breakfast for a friend or I'd have been there. Nice to see the weather warmer...

Saw Paul at a hockey game last? week.

What's everyone else been up to?

Still got the springs for V2Win....

The ride was messy at first...There was a light mist as we headed west on 94...I was riding very carefully and Kevin and Bill were hell bent...The sun finally came out and we actually saw 60 degrees later in the day...WOW!...

Well, I've decided to sell Pumpkin...As they continue to stop making what could be needed parts I have come to the conclusion that this is best for me...When we had the Alpha Romeo it was a never ending battle (and expensive) to source simple parts...I don't want to do that again...

Keith, what are you plans other than the game next weekend?...

See Ya!

Well keep in mind I have a 1-of-67 RS1200 that I find pretty easy to get parts for - provided you can take the time (3-4weeks from initial phone call). If you're goin to ride constantly (all together now: "Not Bob"; ) you might need something with active factory support.

I'm still thinking about getting a FJR - still need to test ride one too.

You goin to just stick with the ST or you thinking dual-sport?

Bob,
Actually its not this coming weekend, its the weekend of March 27th. I will be in St. Louis for my Bachelor party. The plans at this point are: Dave and Busters for lunch, Blues/Blackhawks game midafternoon, then bars, bars, more bars, and a trip across the river. I know Sam and Frank are headed in for the event. You may get them to ride Sunday prior to thier departure. Don't think I will probably be in shape to be on two wheels during that trip. Interested in catching up with us?

Guess I should let you in on a previous conversation we had. Remember a discussion about trips that included; March 27th to St. Louis, April 17th to Quincy, and May 15th to KC? Well heres the summary. March 27th to St. Louis for my bachelor party, April 17th to Quincy for my Wedding, and May 15th to KC for Sam's Wedding. Yes I said SAMS WEDDING!!!! Rumor also has it that we there may be festivities this coming fall for Frank. Must be something in the water!

Josh...At this point I'm just planning on banking the money and see what happens...As in what happens at KTM with their new sport bike...The Fisher is interesting but they will probably have a dealer network the size of a pin head for quite a while...But I'll probably look for a new day ride scooter at some time in the not too distant future...My cuz's FZ1 is still tied up in legal mish mash but that's still an option...

Keith...Keep us posted on the plans and times...Especially lunch and after the game...I might be available as a designated driver if you require on or are you doing the limo thing?...

See Ya!
