The tapping went well last night, the beer was great but I spent more time drinking the barley wine. I should be recovered in time for the meeting tonight. See you there.

Did I miss something or is Nev smoking too much crack? I got some goofy email that I don't understand.

Oh well.... Maybe it was just a bad case of PMS. I'm starting to feel the pain up here. It snowed AGAIN this morning. Yesteday they said it was supposed to be partly cloudy and 47 degrees on Sunday. Now their saying 40 and rain. WTF!!! Where's spring?!?!?

Lake,
You're getting married, be happy, and don't worry about the other stuff. Some things are not meant to be understood, just accepted and respected.

We are having occasional appearances of that white rain down here today. Coupled with almost getting myself fired yesterday the weather appears to be getting closer to riding season. As soon as the kitcar is out of my garage I can begin to prep one of the bikes for the upcoming season. Still haven't found all my tools, hopefully they'll appear as the kitcar stuff gets out of the way.

Channels change, life goes on. Not feeling well today so don't know if I'll make tonight's meeting.

I had to call in a couple of big favors to get it cancelled too! If you play your cards right I might persuade them to reschedule but you gotta treat me real nice. Not that pretend nice like Donut does.

Hey everybody,

Thanks for a good meeting tonight. I hope that you enjoyed the service department and how to prepare your bike for the riding season. Many thanks to Dan Blanski(I know I spelled that wrong).

Bill and Dyna- your always welcome to attend meetings and functions.

The Brew City Trap Shooting Competition (BCTSC) will be held on Saturday March 20th at the McMiller Sports Complex in Eagle (Hwy 67 and Cnty NN). Please let me know if you are interested. All are welcome to attend. We are planning for 11:00 a.m. for some practice and then do a little friendly competition. Heck we might even bet a diet Pepsi or two.

Cost: $12 for shooting range fee
$4 a box(25 shells) of ammunition if you need to borrow a shotgun.
$0.50 for earplugs

First ride of the year, Sunday March 28th the "Shake the Rust" ride

Meet at Hal's at 11:00 a.m. and go for a nice ride.

Ok is everyone gun shy or what???????

Is anyone planning on attending the trap shooting?

Jerry, do they have ammo there for sale? Or I could just stop at K-mart on the way out.

Dyna,

Yes they do have some ammo for sale there, but it has the added "premium" for convinence. I'd stop by K-mart and pick up a box or two of target loads.

Everyone,
The first annual Brew City Trap Shooting Competition (BCTSC) will be:

Time: Saturday March 20th 11:00 a.m.
Place: McMiller Sports Center.
Eagle, WI
(Located just southwest of Eagle on Cnty Hwy NN just off of Hwy 67.) See here for directions. http://wernvalley.com/mcmiller.htm\newurl
Costs: Range fee $12 for all day shooting
Ammunition $4 box(25 shots)
Ear Plugs $0.50
I will supply the clay birds.

If you are interested, speak up. If you have your own gun, let me know. If not, you are welcome to shoot mine.(Ammo not included)
It's a whole lot of fun, especially when you break your first bird.

Jerry

P.S. CJ you know you want to, and your definetely more than enough woman to handle a lil'ole shotgun!!

MikeJ, come on and burn up that box of target loads. You know you want to.

Jerry

In other news,

Hal's has been informed of a Track Day at Blackhawk Farms on May 26th. Leon Winfrey of Harley Davidson's Riders Edge department has dropped off sign-up forms with Hal's. The fee for the day is $145.

I don't have all of the information but it is sponsored by www.PrivateTrackTime.com If you are interested stop in at Hal's, sign up forms are available at the front desk or with CaraLee.

Why are so many track days held during the week? Oh well, bikes aren't ready anyway.

Had a new indirect relative baby arrival that's taken a priority. Will check to see if I can find the shells and dig my way back into the storage bin for the hardware. I'll post by Friday if it looks like a go.

Does McMiller's entry fee allow wandering from the trap range to the rifle/pistol range? I don't remember as it's been a few years since I've been there. If so I might meander a bit. Got something I need to test out a little.
