>>>If I leave today, would I arrive too early? No . . . not if you took one of my routes . . . you'd arrive just in time. Took me 31 days last time so . . . technically, YOU'RE LATE! |

I just found this event today. Unfortunately, I'm already signed up for work on that Saturday, but this is enough time in advance that I can probably find someone to cover my shift. Then all I have to do is find/buy a tent and convince my wife-to-be to let me leave her 2 weeks after the wedding |

Bring her.... may as well let her meet the other side of the family. I thought about bringing my lady friend... She'd enjoy it. Problem is I don't ride NEAR as spirited with her on there, and it's simply not nearly as enjoyable on those kind of roads. Plus I couldn't imagine getting two people plus all the camping gear on the cg. I'd be maxing out my luggage rack for sure! |

once again... nothing says I love you like... BUELL or Say it with... BUELL! Just my two cents... Snakedriver and I ride two up, but very infrequently because we both enjoy the spirited ride. See you in 22 days!!! |

I can't wait. It will be cool to ride with some other Buells. I was up around Seneca Rocks over the weekend to do a little riding. I rode about 800 miles and passed one Buell, a cityX I believe, on rt33 over towards VA. |

We'll either be down Thursday night or Friday morning... depends on how long it takes us to pack. Yjs - I live about 30 minutes from Seneca Rocks. I love riding down that way. Did you hit Briery Gap Road or Smoke Hole Road? Both uber fun rides! |

We hit smoke hole road, I don't remember briery gap rd. Coming off the mountain from mt storm towards Petersburg was fun. |

Them southern boys aren't on the roll call list yet. Who's going to do the "Peanutbutter Jelly Time" dance & provide the animal sounds. And MC2's stories? |

Oh, hey....just found this. I didn't read the whole thing but would you folks mind a couple of Northerners????? We didn't get to take the Uly to Skyline Drive / Blue Ridge Parkway and we could really use some time on the bike. Only three hours from home. Tim |

Snub, I will be back to my home town in Northern Pa for a few days before the blessed event. I believe I am meeting up with Dottrz South of Erie and may even have to snag some of those Ohio flatlanders on the way down. We would welcome you to join us although riding plans have not yet been laid out. I may live in East Tennessee now, but I am a Steeler fan from wayback! |

Hey Snub.... COME ON DOWN!! If you are gonna make it... please sign the Roll Call at the top of this thread so I can keep a good head count going. We have had a grate/great time the last 2 years and I don't see why this year would be any different. (Message edited by wolfridgerider on July 28, 2009) |

I'm going to be very disappointed if I don't get an encore of Peanut Butter Jelly Time. I watch the video for a good laugh every once in a while. Just an FYI, I'll be bringing the blender and margarita fixin's. SD bought me a power inverter the other day as a surprise... what a thoughtful guy! Yjs - if you are coming down 33 from Harman to Seneca Rocks, turn right at the rocks to head toward Judy Gap. Briery Mtn will be on your right. Its an okay set of twisties, but I agree, 93/42 from Mt. Storm to Petersburg is excellent as well as 50 from New Creek to Mt. Storm, then 50 from Mt. Storm to Cool Springs is my ultimate fav set of twisties! Cool Springs has a great little, well, everything store, that also sells premium gas. I'll ride down, hit the twisties, stop, fuel up and grab a drink, then back up the twisties. The local folk around here call that stretch of road the 50 twisties! Ok, I've had too much coffee and I think I'm going through 2 wheel withdrawl. Can't wait to see everyone! Awesome! You guys are great. We took 50 East from 79 to Deep Creek not long ago (in the car) and wow what a drive! talk about twisty. I'll sign the roll call after I get some work done. Tim |
