Hey guys, It's good to be back.

Jose might remember me from WAY back in the day before the XB series. I was going to Buell gatherings when Erik was talking about the B-last before it was even in dealer showrooms.

My first Buell was a black 97 M2. My second Buell was a 98 S3 in deep red/maroon. It was then that I strayed and bought a TL1000s. I sold the TL a year ago and gave up riding for awhile. Just recently I saw a Buell for sale in Hampton Roads. I cruised down and found a non-running 99 S3T for a price I couldn't walk away from. I bought it and like The Godfather says "Just when I get out...they pull me back in!"

I got this one running the other day. It initially wouldn't run because of a seized fuel pump. To get it running on the cheap I bought a CV carb and installed it. ECM race cpu and all other wiring I just left alone. It runs pretty well for a carb that still has a 170 jet in it! Now that I know the engine and trans are in good shape I purchased the other parts to set it right. I have a WP rear shock coming and a rear master cylinder to get it inspectable.

Any other Bueller's in the Richmond, VA area? Has everyone given up on the tubers and moved to the XB series?
