Okay, the date is set for the 12th Annual Sport Lap Around Saint Helens, SPLASH. All riders on any brand of bike are welcome. In the past, this ride weekend has drawn a great group of enthusiasts from all over the west; Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, BC and Alberta. This year's event will follow the the same format as in the past: Friday evening get together and dinner at Horseshoe Lake Park in Woodland Washington. Saturday ride around and about Mount St Helens. Saturday evening dinner by group consensus. Sunday ride home with friends and family. I'll post details on motels, restaurants and other locations in the near future. FYI, the road to Windy Ridge is still closed at MP11 (Bear Meadows)due to damage and there is no timeline on it being reopened.  However, they have reopened FS 25 from Randle to Cougar. | ||

Oops, my bad...FS25 is NOT repeat NOT open due to slides...still. (That's the backside from Randle...in case anyone from up North yonder was thinkin' of taking that route). Boy am I the bad one and dropped the ball on everything this year! Sorry folks for not posting motel info in advance! I will have the dinner all prepared on Friday at Horseshoe lake as always. Cooler with water, pop and ice, anything stronger you will need to supply, but there should be a cold place to keep it.  | ||

Chris and got out and washed a waxed the Harley and Buell yesterday. He started polishing the ole Buell up and man does it look good. Not as good as the Harley but almost Sorry honey! Can hardley wait to see everyone this year. Take care and ride safe. | ||

Okay guys! I'm doing fine. Just a bit slow in organizing the time off. I won't miss the SPLASH ride. Bike is being serviced right now ... major oil coming thru the breather caused me some concern. I'll pick up the bike from Deeley's this week and hope that all will be better. Craig traded in his Buell for an ATV this year ... I'll spare you from my brotherly opinion of that :-) Astrid has no passport so cannot join us. I work on Jim to get him interested, but with his dual purpose not too suitable to long rides that is a long shot. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again, it's been too long. John | ||

I wish I had the new 1125cr, but i didn't get paid on some accounts and things are tight right now, so still holding off on the bike purchase. If anyone has a bike that needs to be rode, I'm the guy. | ||
