Just don't ask me to ride unless it is less than five days out from the event! I can't plan for anything, but if it pops up at the right time I'm in for a good time! Mark glad to see you gettin' the forks sealed up and resprung. My bike is still doing fine, thanks for backing me up on the switch! I think it is a wire in the steering neck bundle. |

I had a blast last year, but after 31k I sold the XB9S (couldn't justify 2 bikes with a kid on the way). So now I'm getting used to grinding pegs on a Honda 919. Different, but still fun. (Message edited by tpoppa on March 29, 2009) |

I plotted the schedule out ahead, and preliminarily it appears that I should be able to attend again this year. Sunday is Crue Fest in Pittsburgh, so that will be a mandatory stop on the way home I suppose....I'll be much more better prepared this year as opposed to last: I took some parking skills courses, bought a new tent, and I've been brushing up my game so Jimduncan doesn't punk me with the waitresses this year. |

Being as how the Res Ride is only a couple hundred miles from me, I should have planned on that one. However, I have a commitment to a friend who owns a motocross track to run his concession stand for him, and that limits me on the number of weekends I can get away. I AM taking the weekend off for the WV Rally though, so long as my primary employer goes along with it too! Hope all is well with you guys. Give my regards to "The Folks" when you get to WV! |

Mark, what's your route to Altoona? I might consider riding with you part way. Turns out I'm off the whole weekend, but got roped into taking my wife to see Billy Joel and Elton John in Cleveland. Also, the Sarge has graciously ensured me the weekend off for the WV Ride. So, barring any cataclysmic incidents, I'M IN!!! |

Just got the plan by Congress for the WV Buell thingy. I will likely be heading to Northern Pa. first to visit the homeland, then camping with you all to cap the return trip on my vacation. Now we just need to get this damn economy jump started! (Message edited by etennuly on May 14, 2009) |

Vern, when it gets closer, let me know your travel plans back south from Warren to the rally. Preliminarily, I figure on leaving here (south of Erie) on Thursday AM. |

Mark, what's your route to Altoona? Don't know yet.... I said I would lead a ride from C-Bus to Toona on Friday morning but I have had no takers yet... If someone does end up wanting to go from C-Bus on Friday. I will go 70 to 22 and follow 22 all the way in.... If no one ends up going Friday. My Harley riding friend you met last year at WVBR2 (AKA Dirt Bike Mike) and I are going to go to my folks house Thursday night and head out 50 to 220 North on Friday. |

Hi Don, Will do, it would be cool riding with ya. I might have another Uly with me and possibly a couple of "other" bikes for the trip to Wolfridgeriders cornhole party! When time gets closer I will lay out a plan! |

Vern- great. Keep me in the loop! Mark- 70 to 22 is a bit far south from here, but I see your wisdom in that route. BTW, for the benefit of you and Gary, a band my cousin from Arkansas stage manages, Finding Jimmy Hoffa, is playing in Columbus on June 12. A club called Vegas 161 (ever hear of it?). You guys might enjoy them. Pretty much like Gary's band, if I had to categorize them.... |

SOOOO....I'm haul'n A$$ home from the Res Ride and someTHING runs across HWY 50 in front of me.... I had no idea what it was.. LARGE CAT of some kind. My first thought was a bobcat. I did a little digging on the interweb and I'm pretty sure it was a Lynx. That thing was moving!! I just hope it doesn't visit the campsite during sleepy time! Any Uly Riders up for a adventure ride this year? We can shoot up a County road and try to get lost.... |

When is this event? I keep forgetting. Sometime in August, right? It is in my plans, but I can't find my plans right now! I will be into a dirt road ride if it hasn't been raining. PR2's are not mud tires. My official weight is down to 224 and still declining. The only problem at my age, is the muscles aren't as strong as they used to be, and now the mass is dropping off. I cannot just throw my weight into a situation as I could before. Fighting the Uly in mud for a day would have me in a rest home for a week to recover, and that would be if everything went well! |

When is this event?.....look at the top-o-the page homey.... glad to here you are still dropping the weight.... I, on the other hand....have not. I have settled in on 225... still down about 25 pounds from my largest... but could and should drop another 30 or so... see ya in August... |
