Old Glory Harley Davidson/Buell of Laurel, Maryland is hosting a Sportbike event on 6/27/09. Bring out your Buell and show some Buell Pride! All motorcycles are welcome.  The day will start out with a Poker Style ride (with prizes) leaving the dealership around 9:00am. The ride will end back at the dealership to kick off the day. The AMA PRO Old Glory Buell race team will be in the house for a meet and greet along with their full race prepped Buell XB12R for everyone to checkout. There will be a DJ in attendance, a Custom Bike Show, as well as many other activities. More Details to come... Hope to see everyone there! Paul Thanks I was trying to get the flyer up but didn't have the tool to compress it! Just to let you know on the Flyer it states Total Control Class It really isn't a class you have to pay for the class, and the mental part of what Lee Parks covers in Total Control is left out. But I can talk about it after the presentation. What I'll be talking about is Traction, some good info on tires, The throttle, trail braking, line, vison, body position with a static on the bike. The rider challenge "Track at the back" is not related to Total Control at all, however I did add a 40' circle in it similar to the Sportfest track some years ago up at Williamsport had. I hope to see everyone there. Looks like the weather will hold out for us! K | ||

Yes, thanks to all who came out. I'd like to get in touch with Chris, who was riding the black uly with the xb9 gearing. We were talking about front brake pulsing, specifically flat plate grinding the rotor. If any of you know him, please have him ping me on badweb. Thanks, Chris |
