I have a Whelan TIR3 that I am wanting to mount on the back of the Uly to augment the brake light. There are, on the Outdoorsman luggage, two perfect places that would accommodate one TIR3 in each location. QUESTION: If I have flashing LED brake lights (working on brake activation ONLY) will it get me arrested? Video of the operation HERE I've been picked up in the past for the strobes in my truck but never ticketed. I lost the strobes in the new pickup but think this would be cool on the Uly. | ||

>>>the bike isn't white is it? Not presently. The more I think about it . . the more I think I will just go with the single TIR3 in the center of the bag. Why tease them . . . I know it's okay to modulate a brake light . . . it may not be legal to modulate 2 of them in a synch pattern. That may be pushing it. Another idea . . since I have the Buell siren switch for the right hand bar is to hook them to a momentary switch so, for instance when I am in heavy traffic, I can connect them to the brake light and send a "back off" signal or cut the TIR3's out of the loop,  | ||

The problem with the strobes is the color choices. In NY you will get screwed with if they are red,blue or green. Red and Blue primarily for Police. Blue fro volunteer firemen ( still have to obey traffic laws) and Green for ambulance corps, same rules as Firedudes. According to the vtl you cant have any of these colored lights on the vehicle brake and turn signals not included. Not much of an issue here but in the city you'd be asking for a hassle | ||
