Oh I will be around Jerry. Cold winter months & no riding = pretty boring meetings for the most part. Now if you decided to hold them at a local pub where we had good eats & drinks  | ||

Yep In my own opinion the meetings & the group itself should be more about the people & less about the dealer & the bikes. Having meetings all year is fine, but in the winter months there are no rides going on & for the most part really not a whole hell of a lot to talk about...I think thats why we end up with the banter back & forth between Dull & Doughnut. Give the people a reason to be enthusiastic about the meetings & attendence should come up. Need to plan some stuff to do year round & I dont see that happening. Ukes is finally getting their shit together in regards to the club..maybe its the women & the fact that they appear to be the ones who are doing the planning & getting together? Hell we just had the chicago auto & bike shows & yet not 1 mention by Brew city about doing those events. The chicago swapmeet is this weekend & not 1 word about it. The Milwaukee auto show is coming up & nobody says anything. It doesnt always have to be 100% about bikes. That does get old after awhile. The group should become more like a family & plan to do things together more often. Swap meets, shows, hell even a Brew city night at the movies, getting together on a lazy sunday afternoon for a couple hrs of Bowling or at Romines for pool. Set up a day or 2 of golf..etc etc. | ||

Hey, I was at the bike show where do you think I got the idea I wanted a lime green/black helmut ??!! You want to get together more in those respects, shoot just post some invitations here !! Hey Dyna, Ukes is finally getting their shit together in regards to the club..maybe its the women & the fact that they appear to be the ones who are doing the planning & getting together?} Ya know what, it is not just the girls we have good officers...ever think of that. The club has a lot of women in it!!!!! We all contribute our 2 cents and the officers are open to everyone's ideas. |
