My wife and I are going and Im not commiting to riding there yet. If the weather looks like it will cooperate I plan to ride out with my wife on back of the XB9sx. Im just wondering if anybody from here is heading out to homecoming. Are you riding or hauling, and is your spouse going? | ||

Might be hauling, tho it's against my religion. Just don't think the Uly could tow a camper. Otherwise, planning on it. The wife won't be coming however, just couldn't make that work this year. Anyone other 'sotans riding out? I'm wondering how many folks will be leaving for the Friday activities and how many will just tap the weekend stuff. Anyone? | ||

The wife and I are both planning to go, and both riding. Leaving late thurs, or early fri if we can both make it work with the schedules. If enough ppl come up with a plan, we'll do our best to participate! Are there any decent places to stay in that area? | ||

The soonest I could leave is Thursday late afternoon. We may ride to Wisconsin dells Thursday, and get up early and head to East Troy. Sunday late afternoon ride to Lacrosse and Monday am riding up the river road home. We are going to do a few test rides next week to see how she handles the back of the cityX for extended periods. I really dont want to haul but I might just be sure my wife enjoys the trip as much as I will. | ||

We are now leaving thursday around 6am. We will be hauling. It sounds like we will be putting on quite a bit of miles in the area so I dont want my wife to be sore when we get there. I hope to be at Hals by 12ish. | ||

Still trying to make the logistics of this trip for us, I won't have to work saturday if I get enough done in the shop tomorrow. If that goes well, and the wife can wrangle up a sitter for the kids (overnight) WE'RE GOIN'!!!!! If not, I just might even go lone ranger and leave her home (she'd rather fish with her dad this w/e anyway- I just don't get it??) Are there any 'sotans that haven't left yet? Would love to ride with you if it works. I plan to leave the St.Michael/ Albertville area around 6-ish (PM), and start down the I-94 corridor...... Let me know guys- or girls... anyone's welcome! Hotrod427, I hope you didnt ride out on friday. Most of the homecoming happenings were over by the time you would have arrived. Besides the weather saturday sucked of riding. We rode up to road america in the mid 40s and back in the low 40s and heavy rain. It was brutal. I just got home. | ||

Sorry I couldn't make it guys, I would've been more than happy to slog out the crappy weather with you all but I suppose it just wasn't meant to be this year. Just too much going on at work. Good to just still be employed I suppose... Need to get together with you guys again soon. Maybe put some miles on with other Buellers for a change! There any stuff going on in the cities on a regular basis? Where is this Delanos Pizza thing? If anybody's going to Albertville "Friendly City Days" this weekend let me know and we'll hook up and scoot around a little- it's right in my back yard.  |
