Just a reminder that for this Saturday's meeting we will rendezvous at Latus before having a "working meeting" on the roadside of Highway 224, fulfilling our duties as foster parents... Yes, that mean picking up roadside debris and garbage. It's not the usual glamorous PBR agenda -- wait a minute! Since when was being a PBR member EVER glamorous??!?!?!?!?!
Anyway, it's apparently glamorous enough to perhaps attract us a new member....

Daniel we have some very Glam individuals in the group, just look at Adam's posing pict. from a couple of Sat ago. I will bring the flashing yellow stobes for vehicles. |

Yes we will be there rain or shine. Most likely we will just have clouds with possible small showers every once in a while. |

I figure that I will at least need to drive in order to carry the flags, metal trash 'grabbers' and the surplus of garbage bags; one of our original intentions was to be able to park bikes along of the side of the road to show 'em off... Maybe we don't want to be marching along the side of the road in motorcycle gear? A good rain jacket will probably be in order -- agreed with Swede: rain or shine the chain gang will need to clean that highway! |

We are officially mile marker 10.5 to 12.5... Mile 10 is approximately where Tong Rd intersects 224. I figure we can do a touch more and simply start at mile marker 10. Look for some folks with orange vests and yellow garbage bags... |

Thanks to all who participated! We collected around 30 bags of good old fashioned American garbage -- the coolest thing I found was a morocco; the grossest a diaper... yuck.
I will send in the info and then we will all need to keep an eye out for our sign! Club photo anyone? This should be easier to find than the 'Welcome to Buell Oregon' sign. |

Lots of interesting garbage! My pickup had a distinct porn theme - DVD's Magazines along with two full beers, and yes I left the porn in the garbage bags! (the beer I had to give to Tom  ) |

We will bring this up at the next meeting. Sorry to hear you are not able to do the Sunday rides.
There has also been some discussion of possibly changing the day of the meeting from a Saturday to a Sunday so this will also be discussed next meeting.

No because of the 4th July weekened we will push it out to July 10th at Gators at 8:00am.
At that time we will discuss possible new meetup location, time and if it should be moved to Sunday's. |

we got kicked out early at last months meeting do to other summer activity meetings. Instead of dealing with scheduling conflicts we will find a new place. Gators is a temporary place for the next meeting. |

Hello Dave!
Yes we are still active. We have changed our meeting to the second Sunday of each month.
Location is Gators pub and eatery at 9:00 am. Next meeting is Sunday the 13th. When the weather warms up we will have local rides following the meeting.
We also meet just about every Saturday morning at 8:00 for breakfast and when the weather is nice we usually do a ride until approx noon. |

Went to Gator's on Pacific Highway at 9:00 today.
I had the only bike in the lot.
Had a nice breakfast though.
Maybe next month?
Yesterday I rode down from Washington over to Estacada and I saw a nice Adopt A Highway sign that said "Portland Buell Riders".
The road over to Detroit Lake is one very nice ride. |

We were there looking for bikes and didn't see any. I didn't ride cause my son was with me, so we ended up at the pie place across the parking lot. Sorry if we missed you. We will catch up with you, promise! |

Tommy served me another nice breakfast at 9:00 at Gator's today. Either I got the day wrong or something.
Maybe we will meet some point but it probably won't be in a bar on Sunday morning, especially now that the weather is getting nice for riding on the twisty roads.
If there is a ride planned and it is posted here I'll try to catch up with you all then.
If I do, I'll be easy to spot. I ride a blue 2002 M2 that still has a Florida plate and I wear a black Aerostich suit with a green hi-viz vest.

I think you have the day down better then we do. I personally thought it was next week because of mother's day weekend. But no it was suppose to be today.
