Carlos, we got zero snow last night, not even a flake. It's cold, to be sure, and very windy (as usual), and there's still a threat of the wet/white stuff, they say, but as of right now everything is bone dry.

I hope one of the C3'ers can help me out, or anyone who just happens to pass through for that matter, as the contact a colleague had didn't work out.

I'm looking for a company that I can have chrome plate (or maybe more technically accurate vacuum metallize) a small (~ 8" x 4" x 2") plastic part for me that's not gonna charge me a batch fee for a single part. I'd prefer someone local (NC or surrounding areas) to minimize time in transit both ways, but at this point I'm willing to accept any info on anyplace willing to do it coast to coast. Personal experiences with the outfit are a plus. Any leads will be GREATLY appreciated!

I need to do a little 'adjustment' to the part before it is ready to be sent as I want to have a source lined up before I go to 'adjusting' it. But my 'adjustment' shouldn't take too terribly long to do.

Carlos, we had baby snowflakes much of yesterday afternoon, but never enough to stick.

This morning is crystal clear and cold (30), with light frost visible in the front yard just now, but otherwise everything appears bone dry.

Howling winds all day yesterday, but this morning is quiet and still, not even a whisper.
