Skinner, I have a family wedding to attend in the Denver area on 15 August. I'l have about 2.5 weeks on the bike total to get from VA to CO and back. Somebody better eat a plate or two for me. NUTS | ||

Nuts, Find Golden Gate Canyon while you are there and give it a spin. I ground a lot of Virago pegs off on that road a decade ago. (Hint: Its the road that goes through Golden Gate Canyon State Park.) | ||

I had totally forgotten about the "not so fresh" leathers! Folks, I have a general question/poll. Would you be interested in an earlier WV get together at my place in Canaan Valley? I was thinking June 19-21. Up sides - 1. another excuse to ride in the mountains of WV 2. I have a 30 acre field so lots of room to camp 3. lots of really good twisty on road as well as forest service road/off road riding REAL close 4. I have 2 extra bedrooms, lots of floor space and 4 bathrooms 5. State park campground real close by as well as a couple of hotels down sides (but not really) - my driveway is about a half mile of gravel not so good road, but I have no trouble getting the XB in and out of here. Let me know what yall think. If so, I'll start a new thread for this event. I'm always up for a group ride/party/whatever. J (Message edited by emtff376 on March 06, 2009) | ||

J, Your welcome for the reminder. Additional excuse for a ride/get together within a reasonable distance sounds grate. Can't take the place of the ORGINAL "WVa Buell Rally" but in addition to. Count me as an almost for sure if it works out. Usually free on weekends but my youngest is starting college visits this year to pick a place for me to send more of my money. Mark, you already ordered J0113.2AK qty.2 today. your cost will be $33.00. but did you check if we have the seals in stock? because we don't. do you need me to order you some? just call me. i would say that we would only charge about 1.5 hrs since we usually charge 3 hrs to do the entire job on the bike. I'm not "free" until August... We should look into doing the Headless Horseman run... it was the late Oct. last year. I want to do Buelltoberfest too.... It all depends on the $$$.$$ |
