Ugh I feel like crap this morning LOL. We all made it home alright. About the time we got to Louisburg, my kickstand spring popped off and hit Bandit LOL. So I had to ride home from Louisburg holding my kickstand up with my foot because it was draggin the ground. I had a freakin blast yesterday though! | ||

Steven, Oh jezz...the side stand spring? You know that they have a Service Bulletin out for that. The dealer will put the new one on for free. Kinda like a recall...but not. | ||

Oh really? Have a lot of people had that problem? I didnt know they had a recall for that. Its a good thing Brandon was right next to me though to point it out....that couldve been dangerous. | ||

I know I made it home ok. It was actually pretty cool getting on a decent ride outside the city. The rain wasn't too bad. At least for me. Took me about 45 minutes and a vicodin to pass out when I got home. But I now know that I need a better seat. And I ordered a drummer. I dont like my weak sounding exhaust anymore. | ||

Sweet John, can't wait for that! I def found my seat pan as well. Only bad part about the streetfighter seay is its wider, making it even harder to touch the ground. But I guess you could only use it for road trips. I actually enjoyed the ride back only because the air temp was decent. But yeah Drake we rode thru about 45 mins of rain off and on. | ||

I figured we got lucky on the way back. Started out kinda sketchy cause somebody leading almost got us lost! Then that cop that flipped a bitch on us, I think it was just before ft scott. He followed for a couple mins then turned off. | ||

Steven, Yeah, they "updated" the spring. Apparently a couple of them have failed, like yours. Oh yeah, here is a pic of my bike with the carbon fiber Jardine on it. I am pretty happy with it. But its probably just as loud as your D&D.  | ||

Im all ready set for Heartland Park.. I have been emailing back and forth with Mike Kirkpatrick, Crew Chief for James Gang/ Hoban Brothers Buell racing team of Paul James and Jeff Johnson. They Switched over to the 1125r this year for the new AMA stuff. Ill be there July 30th 31st and Aug 1 and 2nd cheering them on! | ||
