hi eric, welcome to the club!
if you get a chance post another intro at the bottom of the main nebo page, sometimes new threads get lost in the shuffle. : )

Great, another Eric. We already have two of you, so you're going to have to change your name. Sorry, but that's the way it is.

Anyways, welcome and hopefully you can drag your ass out to ride with us once the twisties shed their winter sand. Most of the rides launch from Lowell's Restaurant in Bellingham, Carl's Diner in Oxford, or The Barn in Little Compton, RI. Yeah, it'll be a haul for you but it's worth it.

Thanks guys.. one of my friends on here talked me into buying a buell... after i talked him into to buying a dual sport. those places are not to far seeing i use to ride my 1977 cb550 cafe racer to plymouth and such.. the buell should be a better bike for a longer haul. Technology has changed slightly since 77'

Still got the cafe? Building a classic jap cafe is one of those things I want to do but probably never will (wife said "no more bikes").

scotty,

here are some pics.

http://s208.photobucket.com/albums/bb68/Commit100/ cb550%20cafe%20racer/

it really wasnt all that expensive to do. i think i bought the bike for 500$ maybe put another 1000 into to. i didnt do any performance stuff. as far as fabrication i really only cut some of the rear frame off to get the seat pan to fit.
