Barring Tragedy.. BumbleBuell and I will be up there for another MotoGP.. Hopefully, this one wont be as wet as the last one... Last year (despite the rain) was a great event! Hopefully, this year, we'll get to meet up with a few BadWebbers and make it even better! | ||

Wife+I plan on being there Fri,Sat,Sun.Staying in Carmel,looks fairly easy to get to the track from there.Rooms were hard to find with out paying too much$$$ | ||

Hopefully I'll be there...but not the rockstar parking I had last year...Well, we'll see if I can get something done like Laura did for me last year... Nothing like have vendor parking.. | ||

I might be able to help with parking...just let me know about a month in advance. Have an in with a funeral home that opens their lot for the races thats right across the street from the track. will cost about $20 per bike/car. | ||

Nothing will beat the pass I got last year... Anyone that was there last year (at the Buell truck) knows where this was most likely taken...=)  | ||

well, perhaps i can figure something out, we have a small backyard here right in downtown indy (where the action is, i can tell ya...) space for a few small tents anyway, you can use the bathroom inside and whatever you need, liquor store around the corner, ...if someone is interested,let me know....it's about 15 min (depends on the traffic) to the track.... | ||

Questions for those who know. Should I be buying the tickets soon? Does Buell have a hospitality tent? Can you get a decent view of racing with general admission tickets? Should I be booking a hotel now? and any recommended places? And is there anything else I need to know? We're coming down from Ontario, bringing the XB to get around while there. thanks tony | ||

Questions for those who know. Lived my 48 years in Indianapolis and have spent over 100 days at IMS and three days camping at the MotoGP. Should I be buying the tickets soon? Yes, if you are going to purchase a seat in a grandstand. My seats are in the south section of stand J, top row. Does Buell have a hospitality tent? I believe they offered rides on Buells, but not really a hospitality tent. Can you get a decent view of racing with general admission tickets? Yes, Turns 7,8 & 9 have viewing mounds close to the track. Should I be booking a hotel now? and any recommended places? The earlier you book the closer you will be to the track. Conrad Hilton. And is there anything else I need to know? Do some searches and redbullindianapolisgp.com has lots of info. Lots of performance awards were given out by Indiana's finest during the last race. I was not on the mounds but in the stands Off to the side of the mounds And could see some great action. I was really suprised how well we could see with th GA Tickets! If the crowd is no bigger than last year you should pretty much have your pick of seats! Great time, Little wet! But Great time! | ||

there is a good chance i will be in town that weekend however...ive never been to a motogp before... so i ask anyone with prior knowledge... would it be possible for me to get a ticket day of the race if i choose to go, or would it be too expensive that way? | ||

Yes, you can get general admission tickets the day of the race. Even with 90,000 people in attendance last year, those stands looked empty. I understand no one knows exactly how many seats there are available in that facility. It is mind-blowing how huge that facility is! | ||

Mr 04buell and I will be attending but I have not bought my tickets yet either. I figure there will be loads of general admission left. And last year bikes parked for free on the back stretch of the track. Hopefully that will be case this year. I know we're gonna try to park there again. We are so so ready for a real motorcycle weekend!!! It can't get here quick enough. | ||

It depends on where in Carmel but I would say about 30 minutes to the track from there. Yes, the Rathskeller is excellent. | ||
