Anyone in for a ride. Morrbuell has a suggestion to ride out to Astoria for lunch.

Anyone have a good route that would look decent or this time of year overt to Astoria?

There is a group meeting off of Sylvan and HWY 26 at the Chevron gas station at 10:30 tomorrow.

I plan on heading over to join their ride. they are heading out to 53 which is a great road.

so i'm in battle ground, is there maybe a more local place people would like to meet up for some lunch, and maybe a smaller ride? i thought it would be alot warmer than it is today so i don't think that ridin out to astoria would be to smart. i was thinkin around 12 o'clock ish?

Todays ride was about 160 miles RT.

Very nice weather over on the coast but man was it cold going over the pass.

HWY 53 was nice few wet spots but hardly any gravel at all.

hopefully this beautiful weather will hold out awhile longer. maybe next weekend i won't be so scared to ride in the cold... probably not though. ha ha. it had to be frosty out that way. are those snow piles in the background of the first pic? i thought they were extinct by now? maybe i'll just have to bring my man sac and tough it out next weekend if the weather holds, lookin forward to meeting some new riders. till then...

Yup Snow piles. Further up there is snow all along the side of the road both on HWY 6 and 26.
