yeah i know it! i woke up to two inches of snow on my driveway, not bitching, but i still had to drive to school, sucks in a rear wheel drive car! i was sliding the whole way there. when i got out of school, there was four inches at least of snow on my car, and the ••••••• snow plow dudes decided it was a good idea to plow in between parking lots. which initially left my shitstang stuck behind a foot of hard snow. i swear, some people just dont think things through! | ||

Riverfront harley davidson in lawrence along with Topeka Harley davidson are having a new years day ride..petty sure every one is meeting at topeka harley on new years day for the ride.... if the weather is ok.. not sure if in going.. roads are still kinda sandy and salty.. | ||

FYI. Letko is REALLY pushing to sell their current stock of MV Agustas. I don't know what will happen post merger, but it makes me wonder / think about if Harley is wanting to move the MV's to their shops. I hope not. ACTUALLY, I hope the Buell line gets moved OUT of the HD stores. I hate going to the store, only to find they are stocking NO BUELL PARTS, and they DON'T CARE IF I AM THERE. pisses me off. | ||

odd, whenever i go to gails, i feel extremely welcome. beinng a teenager, i get more attention at gails opposed to freedom cycles or reno's. there are a few employees at gails that know me on a first name basis. even when my parents have spent over thirty thousand dollars on bikes and equipment at reno's, they still treat me like a punk. i personally like the buells in the harley shops, and whenever they dont have the part i need, they order it and get it within a few days. i guess ts just personaly opinion though. although you guys probably have more wisdom in these matters than i do, seeing as i havnt been in the motorcycle community for all of that long. | ||

I talked to both Smithers and Frank and the goal is to build the worlds fastest Trike. Sounds like Frank picked up the busa wrecked and they are going to put a turbo on it and strap someone light on it (Jeff is my guess) and send it down the 1/4 mile. That will be fun to watch and wild ride according to smithers. | ||

Oh, I thought the goal was to make a Busa for the saggy pants and flat-billed hat crowd.  Seriously, a fast trike seems to me that it would ride like an incontinent prostitute - or something else that would be expensive and a lot of fun until things quickly and unexpectedly turn to shiz. | ||

Trikes are not allowed at any sanctioned drag strip in the U.S. for a damn good reason. Any promoter/racetrack owner who lets one even make a half pass is a bigger idiot then the person riding riding it. | ||
