This summer I'm moving to Denver (area) to attend school and work at St Anthony's Central Hospital.

Looking to purchase a house in the area of it if possible, but want to stay somewhere I wont get shot/mugged/raped/whatever in my yard, and of course somewhere the buell will be safe.

looking to drop 70K or less on a place, 2 bedrooms and a garage are about the only other requirements.

stopping down next week to look at a few with a realitor, but any advise on where to buy or where not to buy would be appreciated!

Vortec, the safest places are the most expensive. well, not always. park hill is nice, expensive, and the houses get broken into more often than other places it seems. i live in aurora (i consider it east denver) and it's not too bad. but 70K is about half of what you'll need for a house. don't know about condo's, though.

Actually if you look online at the listings right now there are lots of them under 70, crappy economy has really dropped housing prices.
of course im most likley going to have to do some work on it, but thats the good thing about having a construction background under my belt

I scored a place not too far from downtown.
Close on it this week and start moving soon.

Once settled there's gonna have to be a buellbq party

We're trying to organize a Buell gathering of sorts in May at High Country.
North on I-25,
at exit 235,
see why it's worth the drive.
