Whoo hoo-
It's like Christmas never ended! Got some armoured leather Buell "asphalt" gauntlets 2 for 1 today at Seminole. $100 for 2 pairs, nice gloves, possibly track day worthy!
And as a bonus, got to sit on my "next bike", a blue xb12xt. Yummy.
They had a good variety of gloves left if anyone is in the market.
Happy New Year everyone! Hope to catch up with the Orlando group sometime soon since I've been working there more and more! BeLinda. |

Did you notice if they had any of the Turbulent Gloves on sale? That would be worth the trip.
As the owner of a blue xb12xt I can tell you it is by far the faster of the colors but being so cool it just doesn't show up on the radar.
Hope to see you at Orlando group sometime. We meet on Wednesday nights at Barnie's in Baldwin Park. |

Hey John-
The gloves are probably pretty picked thru by now, but if Seminole is "on the way" it may be worth popping in to see what they have on hand.
That thrust blue bike has been in my thoughts much lately, and I agree, it is an uber cool color. I rode 250 miles on my also cool hero blue City-X on Saturday. We took the long way to Jax and back. The weather was too nice to paint the garage door (bleah...that was for Sunday) so we rode instead. I love my City-X, no issues, 60 mpgs, the select seat helped me avoid excessive road butt, and the new tuono mirrors rock, but I was dreaming of the extra "oomph" and comfy 2 up riding (with the little 115 pound/5'3" little man) and gear stowing the XT would have.
I work in Orlando tomorrow. If I ride in and if it is not too cold (I know, listen to the Minnesota girl whining about the cold), I'll try to swing by Barnies. If not this time, I will make it by one of these Wednesdays. B. |
