I used to listen to Led Zeppelin a lot. Not so much any more. I mainly only listen to 70's rock when I am working in my dad's shop on my bike, on a car, or doing some welding. Kind of a habit.

I thought I heard Zoso was coming to town.

Well, the corbin seat came in today, i couldnt pass it up at 80 dollars shipped. Its much different than the stock or select seat. Im going to have to ride it a bit to see if i want to keep it. One thing, it makes the bike look a lot better.

Matt- good deal on the Corbin. Seems like people either love them or hate them. Most say they seem hard as a 2x4 until they break in.

Yeah, loud prolonged booming noise and the house shook for a couple seconds. No mistaking it for a blown transformer or sonic boom. Pretty mild as earthquakes go.

Guilt? not here, we pay for it during the horrendous summers we have. I know a few days this summer it was actually too hot to go riding, its like sucking on a hair dryer.

Charlie, HAHA! I leave closer to 7ish, Jim will certainly know soon! I have not put it on yet, it just came in today, it needs some paint, looking at it, it looks like its going to be extremely loud.

Im holding on to the v&h and stock pipe though incase i decide to bail on it.

Like it or not, you will need a spare. I never met a Force that didn't end up cracking multiple times.Keep an eye on it so it doesn't fall off.
PS.....Is the Corbin for the small fender or large one?

Yeah, thats what ive heard.

The corbin is for the large fender, i will never, and i repeat NEVER go back to that torture device, err i mean small seat. It was terrible, but looked great.

Care if i drop by on sunday? Ill be in the area seeing my friends new harley.

Matt, I think it's only fair to let you know what happened to the guy who lived across the street from me who used to ride his '85 Shovelhead with straight pipes WFO up Savannah Round. He had to move and left the bike for the people who bought his house. The new owner crashed it and it's in pieces in his shed. Just thought you'd like to know.

Well, to be truthful, neither was the Shovelhead rider. It just sounded that way to all his non-riding neighbors because the
pipes were so loud! Actually, given the history of your cul-de-sac, a loud motorcycle ranks pretty low on the list of neighborhood concerns.

I'll ask Tim the next time I see him. He keeps telling me he's going to rebuild it.

Well the drama continues, i started to unwrap the pipe and its cracked pretty bad, and i dont really feel like starting out with a cracked pipe. I hope i can work something out with the guy becuase i hate to get paypal involved (been there, done that).

So for now, ill stick with my carbon fiber ss2r. And i guess ill start searching for an early race system.
