Whoops...Just committed another BWB Sin.

Light Red...Contact the BWB Sponsors to see if one of them can hook you up with the jacket of your dreams at a price you like.

Just a note to let you all know that in addition to the above post concerning Milwaukee HD/BMC, both Suburban and Wisconsin HD/BMC have Xmas Sales tomorrow Saturday, December 20th.

Additionally, Hal's is having a Post Xmas Sale on Friday, December 26th.

Suggest you check with the respective dealers for sale hours. Also, sorry I don't have any info for dealers outside the immediate area.

When did they close the mall shop? Must not have done well there, or was just opened for the 100th, or was an experiment gone bad, or I may just need to pay better attention. I think I go to the Brookfield Mall maybe once every 18months or so. Okay, so Hal's is out of there, but please tell me that GloriaJeansCoffeeBeans is still there though. I remember the J.C.Pennys store usually had a stock of Packers Cheesehead paraphanalia (that spelling don't look right). I wonder if Hal's got a money back guarantee on their storefront lease in the mall, eh? ;)

Nev/Bill/WaterHeaterMan,
You were talking about local dealerships within a local Stormfront section, no faux pas committed. Besides, I think I recall a Hal's employee attemtping to contact Blake about possible co-sponsorship of the site here some time back, possibly someone from their speed shop.

And I still think it's weird that I go right past Milw.H.D./B on a regular basis and hardly ever stop there, about as often as I hit the Brookfield Mall. Just something about it's location, weirdly out of the way and strangely inconvenient somehow. Oh well, they seem to be doing fine without me shopping there.

What channel is this anyway?
Dazed and confused and it's only Friday.

Mike...You simply need to get on the mailing list for all the local dealers. No pressure stuff, just announcements of coming (major) events. Still need to check the lobby literature stands for riding events, etc.

Concerning the faux pas, I just wanted to make sure that folks contacted the BWB sponsors as well. In Doughnut's case, he is looking for a discontinued jacket that perhaps a sponsor has in stock or can locate/get for him. Got "Net," use it to your best advantage!

WaterHeater Man...LMAO!!! Well, at least now that the new one is in and the mess is cleaned up. Was only 17 years old and blew like a boiler. That was a first. Had one develop a pinhole leak once, but never a geiser. Felt like I was in Yellowstone Park.

Hmmm...now you have me thinking. Perhaps, my more serious faux pas was posting Non-Hal's sales promotions on the Brew City thread. S.E.W.E.R. may have been a more appropriate place.

Comments or suggestions welcomed.

Well now that I've got a more permanent type of mailing address I may have to do that. I'm in their customer database, just never received anything from them in the mail.

Okay, and now I'm thinking I may want to add a sump pump to the old Christmas wish list. Would hate to have our's go geiser on us. Our sewer drain got root clogged and all we had to clean up was some washing machine water when it was discovered, but that was bad enough (and the RotoRooterMan was expensive enough as well, but did a good job on the roots). I think I saw a sump pump at the 91st street Goodwill store last week, hmmmm that would be another time I went right past the Milw-HD shop and didn't stop, oh well. Weird, they seem to be invisible to me somehow, and me to them when I'm in the store at times as well.

I think I'll go play MallMadness today and see if I can observe any documentable ShoppingCartRage in progress. Maybe I'll have to get a cup of extra-frothy cafe mocho to just maybe add to the scene. Oh yeah, Christmas time shopping can be almost like a real live video game at times.

Woo woo, get your motors runnin', get those cards a chargin', rawhide. ;)

Can well understand the invisible nature of MKE HD/BMC}. Considering where they are located, 45 is usually a mad house and the surface streets are usually in grid lock. Ugly intersection but worth the effort.

I just checked the websites for local dealers and House has some good specials posted. You may want to check them out as they go more into the parts department.

Still nothing posted on Hal's site other than the December 26th clearance sale.

Whats the difference? Its not like the dealership actually does 1 damn thing for the BRAG members anyways.

And House is nutz on their prices...well the bikes & parts anyways. Still a little sore at them over their attitude about selling me a fender that they carry. They are the US distributor for Warneke & Faust..a German company & I wanted the front fender. I could order it directly from Germany for the price + about $65 shipping. The guys at House tried to double the price on me & then add shipping on top of it. Told them I knew what the actual consumer price was & I asked them why you trying to pull that crap? I was told I would be better off just ordering directly then. Weird..a company that doesnt want your money??

The one shop I have been in that I have never been screwed with, always been treated fairly & their prices are very reasonable & the sales are absolutley stunning is Theinsville HD, or Suburban..whatever the hell their actual name is.

Didn't have that experience with House. However, I will never patronize their service department again.

Hal's service department and parts counter earned my business. I am just a price conscious whore for riding apparel and accessories (read: bling bling).

That picture is of the old Donut Land in Cedar Falls Iowa.
It was actually owned by a cop.
True story.
He used to bring donuts down to the dealership about once a month.
