Mike...Didn't see Rick's name listed. Thought he was going to get more involved in kickboxing. |

Not sure, thought Rick was into the "Ultimate" anything (almost) goes events. I'll keep my eyes open for him at the gym since I plan to stop in there for a visit during the holidays. |

Dullorb...Didn't mean to imply I am not a life long connoisseur of the Female Form. Heck...Short, tall, fat, thin, all are fine when combined with a personality. I also don't mind gals getting carried away at a concert/event and doing some flashing as that is freedom of expression. However, I believe that when it comes time for the "Pro's", they belong in their element; i.e., the Strip Clubs with folks that want and pay for the "attention." Yeah, I saw men's night posted, but what if I had brought a teenage son with me or worse, an associate from either social, religious or professional circles I travel in. My reputation would have been shot in a heartbeat and all I would have been doing is introducing a newbie to the sport. I just think it is poor taste to allow such activities to be conducted in a retail store that is open to the public, even if it was "Men's Night." Oh well, no problem continuing to do biz with Hal's parts counter and service department. I just will shine their "special events." |

I don't judge I just do what I like and let others do their own thing, it's just not my scene. Although CJ >> Even some girls competiting I see<< I had expected better of you. I did see a guy there with a girl musta been about 4 years old. Don't know how long he stayed. |

Yep, I hope the guy with the 4 year old left, stuff like that really doesn't belong in a retail store !! Personally, I don't care for strippers myself, even Chippendale's, of course I'm not much into pretty men, I like real men, those who wouldn't want to be on public display !! Just an opinion !! Dull, what ever are you talking about !??? LOL CJ |

hmmmm . . .seems kinda odd that, after spending all the dough that HD mandated to turn the old scotter trash stores into these motorsickle malls (am I the only one that misses wooden floors and having to go outside to read the heat range of the sparkplug?), they would then turn around and have strippers at an event . . . . don't get me wrong . . . .I like girls . . . but it does seem a little difficult to follow the logic on this one |

Thanks for letting me air my opinion and for the support. I am no prude, but believe in a time and place for everything. Oh well, life goes on. Did any of you make it to the MKE HD/BMC Holiday Party last night? Discounts of 25, 50 and 75% got my attention and I was really amazed at all the folks from our favorite dealer that were there loading up. That's where I got the story about the men's night fiasco. Of interest, quite a few signed up for the MKE NW Chapter right there. Seems not everyone thinks with their little head. LOL |

The logic is there, you just have to dig a little for it. Consider this, the BMW-Banker boys who drive their urban legend Beemer with bikes in tow to "biker" events, then once there park outside of town to shed the suits and threads and don their "biker" garb, they have the cash and like to "play" the part of badassbikermen, and this type of exposure gives them their misunderstood link to the past they never lived. It's not about the nudity in the past, it's about the freedom to do so if one chose. But today, it's about the "image". I wasn't there, I don't know how it all went down (or off as the case may be) and apparently their in-store web-cams went offline many months ago. Will this hurt the dealership's business? Probably not. Will the management hear any comments (negative or otherwise) about it? Probably. Will it happen again next year? Possibly, just not at the Brookfield Mall storefront. Will the local NewBerlin district attorney's office file or receive any complaints about lewd and lecivious behavior or indecent exposure or disorderly conduct charges over this? Most probably not. Do I know how to spell lucivious? Obviously not. IMHO. YMMV. |

"...MKE HD/BMC Holiday Party last night? " What party? Never heard about it. Must not be tuned in to wherever or however they advertise their events. I think I've been unplugged. If anyone wants to contact me I'll be wandering aimlessly around in the weeds out back. |

Just heard a radio commercial on WRIT that MKE HD/BMC is continuing the discounts on chrome and motorclothes that are instock. You may want to stop by and see if there is something on your Christmas Gift list. |

Mike...all you need to do is register at the individual dealerships. Heck, some you can even do on line. Also, check their websites periodically and you will receive a plethora of information. |

MKE HD/BMC Holiday Party last night? Discounts of 25, 50 and 75% Now that's a good discount, if it's still going on I'd like to take at look at some boots, is that the Milwaukee HD on Silver Spring ?? Like I said I like "real" men, those that miss the old scotter trash stores and wooden floors and having to go outside to read the heat range of the sparkplug?) LOL CJ |

CJ...If you go, take your National Brag Card and see if you can get an extra 10% off. They didn't allow it last night, but did when they had the 2004 New Model Promotion. Worth a try! |

Those strippers ruined my night! As Dull and I were leaving, I hit, (bumped) a car on the way out trying to make our escape. |

Those "girls" wanted to show me things for money. I can't afford the woman I have that shows me things for free. |

I called to confirm the discounts. Between now and Xmas are 25% off motorclothes, leather goods and instock accessories (bling bling, not parts) and 75% off remaining 100th Anniversary stuff. Plus, they have a lot of little gift items that you can probably finagle a discount on as well. |

There was a silver leather jacket at Hal's for $147.50 (50 % off). I hear that the jacket is discontinued. I think it was called "Voltage". I needed to find an 2XL. Anyone have a suggestion as to which shops would be best to check? |

Light Red...Best thing to do is call around. Second to that is hop in the car and take a ride. I think Suburban has one more Saturday Holiday Promo before Xmas, so don't forget to check there also. Plus, discontinued stuff is sometimes on clearance tables at really big discounts. edited by nevco1 on December 18, 2003 |
