Ok, so the 25th is out is what you guys are saying. After the holidays is certainly the best plan at this point.

Cindy, there will be no playing anything by ear. Tell your boss that there are bigger things in the mix and that your motorcycle club must take priority over whatever it is that they think is so damn important. Kidding, of course.

Speaking of priorities, CJ. Darts? Grumble, grumble, I'll show you what you can do with your darts... Not kidding. ;)

Tom, I got the spreadsheet. Thanks!

Bomber, thanks for taking our collective health into consideration, what a guy! And as much as we consider your post a neccessity, BRAG does not designate "Old and in the Way" as being required for charter. They did have a spot for "shady tree limb" though.

J, darts are only til February, and I can probably get a sub for Jan and possibly Feb !!

Darts only allow me to keep my sanity in the cold winter months when my poor bike is in the cold, dark garage and I can't ride, my entire dart team consists of riders !!!

(the alcohol probably helps too !! LOL)

Later Guys, CJ

Has anyone here experience a problem with spun bearings? Where did you get them fixed?

Drive side outer. I know because they almost fall out of the rim. A little BWB search found this as a semi-common problem. Not too hard of a fix. Just looking for someone that has already performed the operation.

Thanks Bomber...from what I've read, that's should only be used as temporary fix. Need to bore and put in a race sleeve. Do you know any competent machinists?

RACERX1 (WES),
WHAT DO YOU KNOW, OR HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT BRIDGESTONE TIRES?
REASON I ASK, FOUND SOME FOR $234 SET NEW.

Tom

Never tried the DOT BT-001's, but the slick version works pretty good, although I've only ever used them on my motard bike in soft rear and super soft front compound. Rear worked well, the front I was never 100% confident in. They have a pretty triangular profile so they feel a lot more like Dunlops than Michelins or Pirelli's / Metzlers. I can't honestly say how they would work on a road race bike. Bridgestone was the only one paying contingency in AHRMA and all the SV650 guys seemed to like them. For that kind of money, its probably worth experimenting. The only other advice i can give is a super soft Bridgestone feels like a soft Dunlop, and a soft Bridgestone feels like a really hooked up medium dunlop on a hot day. If you go with the 'stones, I would get the soft compound front for sure. you could probably get away with a medium rear as tuber Buells work pretty good on harder rears.

Always remember a good tire is always cheaper than bodywork and emergency room bills (unfortunately the voice of experience)...

I ran the Bridgestone BT-010 to Wisconsin and back in August ant found the traction excellent and tire wear was a hell of a lot better than the Dunlop 207s.

I will replace with another set in the spring
