That is incorrect. This thread was archived before Buellistic's post above.

The previous post was on August 5th. Inactive threads won't be archived for at least 30 days from the last post, usually longer.

I sent you message on your Nallin big bore kit.
The weather here in KY has been too cold and rainy these past few days for any meaningful biking. Hopefully this will soon change.

Would anybody be interested in a ride through Mammoth Cave with a stop in Pig for some BBQ?

Hello, I'm in Cincinnati but just minutes from Ky, haven't really found any Buell Riders in Ohio. I ride in Ky a lot, enjoy the country roads. Riding around here in the city sucks. Would like to join on a Ky ride sometime.

There's one north up 71! : )

Haven't been to rabbit hash this year, that will make a good mid-summer destination.

Ok people I have been a member on here for almost 2 years now and have yet been on a buell ride. I would like to schedule a meet and greet here in Richmond and maybe a ride if everyone likes this idea let me know, if there is just one person who wants to meet up that is fine too. I am going to check my schedule but I'm thinking 2 weeks from Sunday. Would like to meet up take a couple hour ride then back here for food and maybe tell a few lies about how fast we used to be.

Buellistic, received your e-mail, probably be Sunday that I can make it. Are you traveling back and forth to Ashland every day? If so I can meet you in Mt. Sterling and show you some back roads in to Hall's. They (Hall's) are starting their own Thursday night ride and it's getting pretty big. Last night there were well over 100 bikes and I saw two Buell XB's at the Waterfront and two at Hall's so there are at least five in the area that are riding. One of them I believe was Altima02, met him once but didn't see him around there.

This Saturday 7-12-08 LaFayette Jenna will be coming up from Florida and meeting with some Kentucky Buell Riders at Halls on the River in Boonesboro south of Winchester KY. off I-64 for Lunch. This is a Famous KY. eatery on the KY. River and anyone can tell you how to get there. Should be a good time.

Got home okay around 5PM. By the time I got to I-64 via the Mt. Parkway it was dry. The roads were wet again west of Lexington and didn't get dry again until half way down the BlueGrass Parkway. Had a good time riding with y'all.

BUELLers:

Figured out what was not working well on computer, it was me ...

The Group met at Gateway Cycles in Mt. Sterling ...

There were some questions about all the BUELLs being there ...

It was noticed that they were all TUBE FRAME Models(where were the BLASTs and XB's ???) ...

Eight(8) made it:

Acgwolf, BUELListic(from FLORIDA), Edmanning & wife(has own bike), Jimidan & wife, Kdkerr2, and Kyrocket ...

Kyrocket lead to the eatery ...

Agcwolf lead for a while ...

Edmanning lead to the end of the ride ...

Kdkerr2(Elizabethtown) rode the longest distance and Kyrocket(think he said you could see his house) the shortest to get to the meet-up place ...

Thought "i" was going to miss out on a chance to ride with some of you Kentucky BUELL Riders ...

The riders that made the Meet-up and ride
were the GO GETTERS of the day ...

Will be back as soon as "i" can to stir up another ride, "BUT" you BUELLers could do a GATHERING, Meet/Greet ever so often on a Saturday/Sunday rotation allowing everyone a chance to ride when they can make it ...

Glad to hear everyone made it back O.K. As I was heading up 11 back into Mt. Sterling it was getting pretty ominous. I parked the bike and opened the garage door and started getting some drops on the seat. Wish I could have stayed and ridden all day but I came back past Kathy's and down 15 later that evening for a cookout.
Craig I'll look for you next time I'm down at the river, and anyone else for that matter, but myself and some friends do day trips frequently and would love for you to come along. I enjoy the ride from Richmond to Nicholasville via the Clay's Ferry and back around. Talk to everyone later.

Annie and I, aboard the trusty S2, rode back to Frankfort the fast way on I-64. We followed Craig (aka agcwolfe) back from Broke Leg Falls through the curves of 460 to I-64 and on to where he exited on the interstate. I was kind of a tired puppy and went to sleep pretty early last night. The Buell performed flawlessly with my guesswork dial-in of the recently rebuilt shock being pretty close for two up riding.

We enjoyed the fellowship with everybody and look forward to doing it again real soon.

Hey Ky Bad webber's check out the postings on the Cincinnati Buellers thread. there are some good people posting there as well. Maybe we should start a Tri State thread and reach all the red haired stepchildren of Willie G that like the funny little bikes in the back corners of HD Buell Dealerships.

Look for me and my XB12R on the Tri State twisty's I ride rain or shine any day its not snow or ice on roads.

Hey Kentucky Buellers!

I'm planning a trip in Kentucky and was wondering if you could help me out. We plan on taking 62 from Maysville to Cynthiana and then taking 32 from there. Since I have never been on these roads I was hoping I could get a little feedback. I heard (from a cager) 32 may not be the best road to take , and instead follow 62 the whole way to Lexington. What do you guys think?

Thanks for your feedback!
