its still Foggy and sloppy wet from the dew here. Not sure if I will make it out before my kids get back home from their sleep overs.

I noticed more intake noise down low and I think more oomph once past 7000 rpm. At that point its hard to tell because I am leaning forward trying to keep the front from lifting.  |

I should be there guys. Not sure if I'll ride yet, coming down with a cold the Mrs. gave me.
I'm dropping the bike off today for the sidestand, and I should be picking it up tomorrow. |

Well we all met up at 9:00 this morning and Paul finally got his kickstand fixed. That was a good thing his excuses of having to hold his bike up was getting old.
Meet up at Latus. Saw some new faces and enjoyed riding and meeting you all.
Notice How clean Paul's wheels are...
Where are we???
Rest Break
Not a bad ride. Finished up at home about 12:50 with a total of 145 Miles RT. Perfect considering how chilly some spots were. |

Once you get your gasket leak fixed I am sure you will manage to keep your wheel clean for longer then 15 min. LOL

okay, so what is the legitimacy of needing a new helmet if it fell off my workbench onto the garage floor, I really dont want to buy a new one, but people have told me that even if you drop a helmet onto a carpeted floor you should get a new one. |

Graham-
It will be your judgment on what you want to do. I have read that if it falls onto a hard surface of 2 feet or higher then its lost its ability to fully absorb. I have also heard that it can take a pretty good whack before it looses it's absorption if there is no head inside the helmet filling the space at impact, indicating it should be OK.
But these are things that I have only heard and read and may or may not be true. |

Sorry I was not able to make it out. Thick fog takes most of the fun out riding. hopefully the sky was a clearer on your side of town.
