Ditto on meeting both of you. I took a chance and went back to work on the bike. Got a little wet on the way home but not bad enough to stop and put my rain suit on. |

Hi Everybody,
Just picked up a 2005 XB9SX a few weeks ago and finally got my NC license and the bike registered so I'm ready to ride! Hopefully I'll be able to make it to the next ride and meet all of you! |

Breakfast would be tough since I love to sleep in  Friday's & Saturday's work out best for me so I'll be keeping my eyes open for the next ride. I have a 3 month old at home now and need to get his permission first also. I'm actually very close to Page rd on church st near RTP. Hope to meet all of you soon. |

Hey guys. New to the Raleigh area and suck at searching.
Would love to find a great ride in the area. I know there is some cause I have hit some short sections of amazing road.
Looking for 50 to 100 mile ride around the area. Cruising back country roads with woods hills and what not. A list of multiple ones. I have a garmin zumo 550 on the ulysses if people have routes made.
The great thing is even the regular riding is a lot better than mid-michigan's good riding.

Trying to get a spur of the moment ride together for Tomorrow Sat Oct 11.
A small group of us (3-4) will be leaving Clinton NC around 9am and heading towards Asheboro via hwy421.
Anyone that would like to meet up in Sanford (10am) and ride the rest of the way with us let me know. It would be nice to have a tour guide for some twisty rds.
The pace for this ride will be no more then +10 mph. So if you're looking for a high speed track day on the street this ride is NOT for you.
I'm not sure I'll be taking the Buell, that will depend on if anyone other Buells show up. If none, then I will be on my GSXR 750.
Please either post here or hit my cell

We have a group riding from the east and ending up at Hollands Fish Camp in Burgaw NC around 2 p.m. for lunch. I'm sure there will be a few passes of Old Maple Hill Road as well.
More details are being posted on the Jacksonville Ride thread. Looks like its just over 90 minutes from Raleigh.
Our local forecast shows 61 degrees for Sunday and no rain. I hope they're right!

Hey Bret, it's good to hear from you. I wondered where you got to.
I sort of got a new motor. That bike is at Ray Price and I no longer own it. I have a new-to-me 06 Uly with 40k fewer miles on it. |
