Here's my new toy. A 2000 S3T w/ 19K miles, full race kit.
Picked it up in New York, from a BadWeber.
Thanks Jose for letting me use your pickup to get it, thanks to Rick for riding shotgun and a special thanks to Kathy for letting me know about it.

Still have a couple of days for the Weather Gods to change they minds.

What's happening at Old Glory Saturday?
Their website doesn't give you much information.

Paul, that's a sharp looking bike! A nice match for your Cyclone M2. Don't know the details on the Old Glory event, but it looks the weathers gonna suck.

Sunday Lisa and I are riding to the Eastern shore to the Black Water refuge. Meeting time 8:00 at the Starbuck's off of SE corner of 175 and route 1 intersection. 9:00 side stands up ride time. We are going to add the Oxford ferry onto the ride as well, I think, if so its $6.00 per vehicle. Lunch is at Old Salty's on Hooper's Isle. If the pavement is wet but drying we are riding for sure! If its raining we'll put it off for another weekend. K

Pete, I was going to go to see you at Summit point this Saturday, but I got put in a class this Saturday, I asked for it but had no control over the date when I was to attend. I wanted to learn all about the fancy buttons on the 2 digital cameras I got this past year. K

I sent Old Glory an email and here is the response: This event is one of the few events thrown in the Harley-Davidson Community that makes Buell its highlight for the day. We are celebrating the release of the brand new Buell 1125CR and getting the Harley rider more in touch with how far the Buell brand has come. Also as a store we will be running specials on all Buell Merchandise and Accessories.}

sounds automated to me. If I didn't have class I would show up. We should keep going to show our support. I was there Wed trying on the Buell AGV helmet. I found I need a small they have all the sizes there, and the helmet is cool. Small size either I'm losing weight or old age is shrinking my Brain! The next helmet I'm getting is the AGV S-4 it matches my X1

Time to pick up a second bike now Chris. I rode a 1998 White Lightning yesterday that I've been considering buying for 2 years now. If only I had a garage... and few things to spend the rest of my money on.

Thanks! Ya, I like the White Lightning too. I have never ridden one but they are sweet looking. I would'nt mind getting another bike but I dont have any place to put one...... As it is now, my bike is buried in the garage behind a monster truck... : (

It needs its own space. A garage of its very own. lol!

You guys are killin' me. Tony - WHERE is another S1W?? I loveloveloveLOVE mine (although the clip-ons are a bit rough on the rotator cuff at the moment) and I try to keep track of where others live. 'specially if they're for sale ; ) Color? Miles? Condition? Inquiring (non-buying) minds have to know!

Cindy - congrats! I still remember when I paid off my M2 way back when...feels goooood : ) If you ever want to torture yourself, you're welcome to go for a spin on my S1W, just let me know!

Joe, I saw this S1W at a yard sale about 2 years ago in the Woodbine area. I tried to low-ball him because I really didn't need any new projects. It has around 3500 miles on it and was in fair condition due to the fact the original owner had it sitting outside. The paint on the tank is a rattle-can special from the current owner trying resolve the bubbling paint, but the rest of the bike looks very nice. Some oxidation on the fork, instrument panel, shock, etc. I have photos from 2 years ago when I first saw it that I'll try to post up.

Since the last time I saw it he cleaned it up quite a bit, replaced the original exhaust with a D&D (too loud), replaced the breadbox with a ram air filter, chopped up the original rear carbon fender so it's just a belt guard now and relocated the license plate. It looks a lot better. Ran strong and shifter nice. I hope he hangs on to it. I may be back one day with some cash.

Joe, thanks for the offer! I would love to but I get nervous riding other peoples bikes b/c I would feel horrible if I wrecked it or dropped it or even put a scratch on it......

http://cleveland.craigslist.org/mcy/860188932.html

I wouldnt mind picking this up! If I had a place to put it I would seriously consider it!

Cindy - I've got spare garage space... : ) That X1 looks like a nice one, seems to be done right. Custom seat is...interesting. What is that, paisley?

Tony - that looks like a bike I saw in Thurmont years ago. Definitely a "barn bike", but the guy wanted waaay too much for it (more than I paid for my garage-kept 1,100 mile bike). Very nice, though. I'm partial to the white/white/white : ) If you do pick it up (or even if not), I'd be interested to know if he still has the stock muffler. I'm gradually collecting parts to put mine back to stock, should the urge hit...

Then I may try and take a ride.. otherwise, I guess I'm just sitting watching others go riding..

Just pull the other one off so it matches, and use hand signals.... I need to go by there today anyway, lemme make a suggestion while I'm there.
