Dfishman - Have a great time in the mountains. Wish I could be there but its Soccer, Soft Ball, Basket Ball, Cheer Leading season. I do plan to ride to work tomorrow and we are planning to ride down to Jacksonville and south to Maple Hill next week if you in town and available.

13 degrees on the radio, 15 on my thermometer. Love the heated gear, but it was struggling.

The Denali said it was 12 when I rolled out at 5:00AM w/heated seats set on 'chestnuts roasting on an open fire.' The bikes can sit until some other time.

Heated gear quits being effective at 9 degrees. I got chilled this morning.

I rode the bike home last in 32°F temperatures. I do not have heated gear, but I layer up and can ride short distances in temperatures down to mid-20°F. That said, I took the Mini-Van to work. Too much packaging for 11 miles.

Yeah, when the amount of time to gear up is greater than the length of the ride I call it quits!
