Jeff...

Oh man did it... if one was to close one's eyes... you'da sworn you were there... he sounded more like you... than you do!!! ...he even hunched down to about your height... and made hand gestures just like you... I squinted my eyes once... and I coulda sworn it was you. It was like a scene from the excorcist... except his head did not spin around... and there was no projectile vomiting of pea soup!

But then again... I have been working with gluing cpvc piping in my bike shop fixing the toilet and a hand wash sink... and it could be a side effect of the glue fumes in the closed area. What do they mean a well ventilated area... a big closed room has good ventilation... RiGhT???

MAN... I live working with cpvc pipes!!!!

Nahhhhh... couldn't be that!!! Though I have been hearing colors lately... it is normal for cpvc glue to have lysergic acid diethylamide on the contents list... right???

Gotta go... I get to play with keys... sharp objects, and guns some more.... gawd... I gotta love working for the federal government!!!

Paul,
I'm in the process of doing Fuscat's bike atm. His recall stuff was ordered 3 weeks ago. We're gonna try to get a hold of someone at Buell tomorrow to see what the hold up is. While we have them on the phone we're gonna try to get them to ship the rest of the recall stuff for you and Mr. Waltrip. Who knows if we can do that though. Basically, I haven't forgotten about ya, but if we can't get the recall stuff any faster (which is a likely possibility), there's really no point in bringing your bike to us quite yet. LOL, besides you're prolly not riding much anyways, are ya? ;) (between the wife, and being a "fair" wather biker and all :D)

I'll know more tomorrow and will post accordingly.

Dennis, dont use cpvc for potable(water that will be consumed) water lines,or any pvc glued pipe !Read the warning labels on the glue and cleaner cans, the same reason lead solder was outlawed on potable water is the same reason the pvc glued pipe is now outlawed or against most,if not all, city plumbing codes.Just as in lead soldered lines, the water flows thru the pvc glued pipe and as it does picks up microscopic particles of the glue and cleaner,or lead. These particles tend to settle and accumulate in the kidneys and liver,NOT GOOD!Ignorance is bliss, but now you know the facts,so either use copper or another type of line that isnt glued. But I guess you could use the old standard lines I usually get when I share this knowledge with people,1)it wont bother me,2)we all gotta die sometime!I know you will do what you want, but as a highly skilled and licensed Hydropneumatic Engineer, its my job to protect the Health Of The Nation,if I can.

The drop is from a feed to a garden hose outlet (exclusively used for swimming pool filling, me and gardening is another disaster story)... and unless a dog breaks into my basement and drinks out of the toilet or utility sink... there will be no consumption from the drops I glued. I have the habit of drinking coffee in a work shop... and I have no intention of scooping water out of the tank to make coffee! My drinking supply in the shop is from a filtered water cooler setup. Thanks.

I plan on evaluating all plumbing and electrical at some point for any upgrade... but that will be when there is money for those projects.

P.S. You Hydropneumatic Engineers always make that soldering of copper pipe look so easy!!! I have always had trouble catching the trick in that skill!

I took a short cut to get a functioning toilet and hand wash sink in the shop. I got tired of walking out to the third tree on the left... and wiping my hands on my pants!! Trust me... I hate plumbing... and would have preferred to hire a plumber. This is at best a temporary fix... the basement bathroom is framed to be a full bathroom... with an adjoining kitchenette... and I want that to be the final fix.

Thanks for the info!!!

I was out on Sharon's Blast earlier today... lots of bikes out. The blast had only been started once since I moved... of I did a circle tour of Independence.

About another ride today... I can't make it. It seems my neighbor ran over my cpvc pipe with his lawn mower... and I have to replumb my shop bathroom. I piled leaves over the cpvc pipe I ran from his garden hose outlet... figuring he would not notice until spring... who da guessed he would mow in the middle of November! Now... I will have to wait until he leaves or after dark... to dig a trench to lay the cpvc pipe in when I reconnect to his water supply... Let's see him cut the water off to my shop toilet after that!!!

I just hope my other neighbor doesn't notice I tapped in to his electrical. How much electricity can a house use??? He will never notice a little increase in his bill. I gotta make ends meet... I really wish one of them would get cable TV... then I can get all the connections I need!!!

Hey Fuscat... how far do you live from me... and do you have cable TV... I think I know where I can come up with a BIG spool of cable TV coaxial!! You wouldn't mind would you???

Once again... everyone is NOT thinking about me!!!!

Paul...

First you are correct in your spelling... that is spelled T H A T. But you really f*cked up on cappuccino. It was close enough to figure out...

I did in fact buy a trailer... and would be more than happy to mail you a copy of the Cease & Desist issued by the Jackson County Court for parking my trailer next to a QT. First of all... when I closed on the trailer... I discovered they took the damn wheels! Then... I had to crawl under about two dozen trailers one night to find wheels so I could move the trailer to the QT.

Then I blew the transmission on my Yugo trying to move the damn trailer... and after all that trouble wouldn't ya know they don't have cable at QTs!! ...and if the neighbor finds out that I also tapped into his natural gas line... I WILL have frozen cappuccino and frozen everything else too this winter!!!!!

OK Mobbers!!!

We need a really cool club logo (graphic)... Something that would look really cool as a tat... I want to get my first tat... and I want it to be Buell or KC Mob related!!! ... and under the tat I want the words "BORN TO RAISE HECK!" I want to be the badboy!!! I want people to see my tat... and run in fear... I WANT TO RAISE HECK!!! Watch out world... here I come.

That is... if my mom says I can get a tatoo.

Does it hurt to get a tatoo??? I really have a low threshold of pain... will they make fun of me if I cry when they put it on???

I just got off the phone with Sean from Edge Racing. We have TRACK DAYS!

BlackHawk Farms
Aug 23rd ? they may be racing, stay tuned for updates on this.

Oct 4th this will be the Monday after the Crud Run!
The dates at BlackHawk are very important as Edge has never done a track day there before. I am hoping to bring in at least 25 riders from Badweb for these dates!

Heartland Park- Topeka Kansas

May 10th

July 5th

4 dates to be determined at Brainerd, they will be the Mondays following CRA race weekends.

As always, I can sign you up over the phone with a credit card.
Or, you can go online to www.edgeracing.net and sign up there. Just mention that you heard it from me! I need to keep my #1 track day pimp status!

Ride to the edge!
