Yeah, but he's green. Must have been a bitter bunch of coffee beans in his brew. Probably why he's licking the sugar off the inside and outside of the lip instead of gulping it down some.

What is he drinking? A Margarita. <img src=">">

Friday Fun Question of the Week:

If you had only one choice of a place to visit, where would it be and why?

It's a toss up for me, but if I had to choose.....I guess it would be the Grand Canyon. I would just like to stand on the edge and contemplate how small and insignificant we are in the grand scheme of things. But then start to contemplate that is was just a mere river that made that huge hole in the ground. I have stood over the Colorado River in Colorado where it starts and it is just a babbling brook.

Some things just blow my feeble mind sometimes.

P.S. CJ if your old then I'm friggin' Superman

Blastin, your always good at racking up brownie points !!

If you had only one choice of a place to visit, where would it be and why?

Arkansas next week, cause my son will be there before heading out to Turkey, and I'm GOING !!

So that one doesn't really count right ??

So Newfoundland, cause now I know someone who lives there, the pictures posted of the island look spectacular, I've never been there, and lots of folks are going next August AND riding Buells, and I have a brand new XB9S, what could be better ??!!!

But there are so many things going on next summer, don't know if I can make that trip, but it's always a possibility !!

OK so this thread is changing!!!!

Call me stupid or just damm boring (something I certainly am not) but one place I'd like to visit would be Labrador or the Great Northern Peninsula or this Island. Its the one part of this island I have never visited.

Gerry I have never seen the Grand Canyon but I am sure there are ice bergs off this coast that could almost fill it.

CJ, I hope you get the chance to visit with the boys next summer as I am planning to meet whoever it is at the boat and be the tour guide.

When you stand out on the front of my folks home this is what you see!!!!I live in the city so I have to drive about 10 minutes to get this kind of a view.
Scenic Cappahayden
Its funny what you take for granted - but when I was WAY WAY over in Wisconsin this past summer the thing I missed the most was the smell of the salt sea air. And I never really knew I had missed it until I walked out onto the deck of the boat at 6am after sleeping the night in a bunk. Just watching the sun rise over the ocean, seeing the fisherman hauling their lobster traps and smelling the air.

Oh well I hope many of you can experience this feeling next year.

Dyna...Our best roads in WI are shot (spelled with an "i";)) as the usually are covered in manure. This is the Dairy State, er at least it says so on our license plates. LOL

So now that I've taken a few days to calm down, how many patches are left? Maybe I'll buy them. They'll probably sell on ebay. The worst big brother would do is send me a nastygram to cease. By then, they'd all be sold.

But seriously, I'm working on my getting hard numbers on percentages. It's not as easy as I thought. Oh well, I guess my days as an official BRAG member are getting limited. I'll just have to attend events as a guest :D

Send ALL the left over patches to ME!!!

I'll put them up on E-Bay cause Big Brother don't even know that Newfoundland exists.

Then I can send the money back to your chapter to fund the activities!!!! OVERSEAS Terrorist ACTIVITY

Funny Story,

During a recent HOG Tales Magazine back in the early summer HOG Canada had a big spread about "The Ride Home" was featured and a map of Canada was on the front page.

There was one thing missing "NEWFOUNDLAND" from the map.

God Damm Upper Canadians that run HOG Canada.

So if HOG Canada don't know we are here imagine what BRAG US would think.

Lets start the Overseas Terrorist Activities.

Can I even say that on the internet!!!

When I went to Japan I bicycled on some of the sweetest roads I've ever seen. I would go there in a heartbeat.

Of course right now I am looking at going to Newfie's dimension, you know that place that has been shifted half an hour into the past.

Speaking of Japan, I took pictures while I was there, have any of you taken pictures? Especially of things you've done on your motorcycle? Send them to pictures@brewcitybuell.com !

Wow... I leave the club and miss all the fun. Patches outlawed and store discount still second rate to KMC HOG. Eh, what can ya do. Buells are for riding not sitting at meetings because a 2"x4" patch doesn't have a big enough advertisement for BRAG or a dealership trying to prorate a discount for some members. You want a discount? Do like I do and buy things at Appleton HD where the prices are 25% lower for all service for all customers. Buy your Buell gear from Dave in Waterloo, and keep your eye on ebay. Now that I am no longer a BRAG member, I no longer reserve the right to complain. On the otherhand, it doesn't give me a warm fuzzy about donating my time and effort to do the patch artwork. If I remember corretly Peter Fonda didn't have a HOG patch on his jacket and he had a pretty good time riding across America. Well except for that flat tire and those rednecks with shotguns...

P.S. I have noticed that my bike gained 10 HP after leaving BRAG (Big brother was off my back) ha ha ha

P.P.S I wonder if Eric will tear our page out of his 20th Anniversary book since the BRAG logo isn't large enough on our signature page?

Jerry,

National or International?
If International, seeing as how you like to bicycle too I'd suggest either Switzerland, southeastern France, or Denmark, or Finland, or Sweeden, or Norway, or western Ireland, or Scotland, or Belgium, or Australia.

If National, how about the Pasayten Wilderness in Washington state? Or the Boundry Waters area for a canoe vacation up in Minnesota?

On the patch thing, I thought there was an early design where the BRAG portion was too large. Maybe it's just my faulty memory.

I just hope someone (important!) knows how silly ridiculous they are being about a club patch !

Not that we won't conform, but they sure do take the fun out of being in BRAG sometimes !!!

I think I'll re-do some of the letters on my gas tank and shrink then 25.237%, maybe the first L, just to see if anyone notices.
Did anyone think to ask for documentation to prove that the item in question is out of specification?

And no thanks Newf, if it comes to that point I'll just print one out locally on paper. ;)
Besides, I have no idea what you're talking about, I'm just looking for a piece of embroidery. :)
