In 04 or 05 Buell's profits turned out to be 3% of Harley's profits for that year.
There was a thread about it somewhere, and the joke became we were 3%ers.
When it came time to need a name for our BRAG club, we came up with the 3%ers Bragging Rights Club.
The 3%ers
When we started thinking about a logo.
Silver Bullet (Bobby) came up with putting a 3% on top of the Buell logo, and I came up with what we unofficially use now.
We're not supposed to use the Buell logo, but it stuck, Erik likes it, and no one has told us to stop using it, so there ya go. |

I think they'd only tell us to stop using it if we were gaining something from it. Trust me. The 3%'ers are a totally not-for-profit disorganization.
I wouldn't have it any other way. |
