Julie, thanks! I actually got home last week and then drove to AZ to pickup a S2 I bought a month ago and never got to make it out there.

Today was a rest day. I started out good but was beat by noon. I guess driving 1500 miles does that to me.

Great news about your son. It sounds like it will be a great family adventure.

JC, no I have not sold the Firebolt. I am still riding it. I hate to get rid of it but I have too many bikes.

Hope you had a good ride. Frank

Does anyone know of a good painter in Colorado that works with fiberglass?

I need someone to match the paint on a 95 Ice White Pearl S2. I will be stripping the bodywork off of her soon and would like to have it all repainted.

JC sounds like fun, Lynn and I may head South tomorrow. I want to check out J2blue's new bike.

Jody, are you going to be around tomorrow?

I was thinking Lynn and I might ride down to 50 and cut North and come back hwy 24... Frank

Nice bike Jody. Congrat's

We went on a ride today down Hwy 67 and met a new Bueller. I think his name is CJ and he recently bought a 2005 XB12Scg in Feb. Anything that could be carbon fiber IS. There's a lot of it. He lives in Woodland Park. We told him about BadWeb, so hopefully he gets on here. It was neat meeting up with another Bueller.

Is anyone from Colo going to Vegas for the Inside Pass Track Day? We'll be leaving on Tues and am very excited about it. Should be fun.

Have fun on your Sunday ride John.

Julie,
Today we ended up down your way. Down to Palmer lake then over to Black Forest to Franktown, Castle Rock and back. Great day.

Glad you had a nice ride, John. We do the Palmer Lake ride on a regular basis when we just want to do a short ride. There's a ice cream shop in Palmer Lake that we usually stop at for a treat.

JC, I know you guys probably plan your rides on the fly but if I had know you would be so close to Fountain I would have met you all somewhere. I like the Palmer Lake ride as well.

Lynn and I headed South and met up with Jody and his new XB9S in Canon City. We did a little ride up Skyline Drive then out to Salida and headed North to I 24 East back into Colorado Springs. We split with Jody at 9 where he headed South back to Canon City... A couple of pics

Where was that last picture taken? I don't trust anyone who says they have clean bathrooms and worms!

It was in Florissant. Actually the bathroom was clean but the sink was stopped up from someone cleaning fish.

That'll wet your appetite! Nice pics from today. Glad y'all made it back safely. I fought a crosswind most of the way back.

Do you know of any other sport bike groups who might be trying to get a track day at the track near Fountain? I could use some instruction and practice.

Jody, there is nothing going on yet. I went by there this weekend and it looks like they are still working on the track. They should start advertising soon.

You might want to check out the track days coming up in NV. It may be on the Buell web site. Ask Jumpinjewels about it....

Your correct. We decided at breakfast on where to go. Nice ride Frank!
If I get any advanced notice on the ride for the day, I sure will post it.

Jody, if you get in touch with a guy named Tony Baker out in Elizabeth he might be able to give you some info on track days. He's with the Motorcycle Racing Assoc. Their email address is mra-racing.org. Dan, my hubby, and I took their racing class in April and it was well worth the $$$. I grew leaps and bounds in my riding.

Buell is also having their Inside Pass Track day in Vegas on Oct 2 that we're going to. Also Femmoto is having their weekend with the track open to men and women on Fri Oct 3. We're doing both.

Track time and instruction is in my opinion, one of the best and safest places to learn your bike.

Anyway, if you have any questions let me know.

Hey Folks, I signed up for the Vegas Inside Pass day! JJ, I'd like to follow along in my truck behind you guys if possible. I'm not sure about where I want to stay, maybe tent camp. This gives me a deadline to get some things squared away on the bike, especially the tires.

J2, we'll be leaving Castle Rock early on Tues morning, 9/30, around 0600, going out I70 into Utah. We'll probably stop about 4 hrs North of Vegas for the night, then head down there on Wed. We'll be driving a 1976, 23' Class C so we won't be hauling butt.

Also, if you have the time and $$, on Fri the track is open thru Femmoto for both men and women. It costs $135 and they'll have 3 levels available,(novice/inter/advanced). Get on Femmoto.com to see more info. One can also demo all the bikes they have down there on Sat/Sun for $25/day.

Our phone # is 303-660-4031 or 303-589-8150 or PM us. Hey, if you'd like, we do have another bed in the RV if you need a place to rest your head.

Does anyone have a set of racing leathers that my son might borrow for the Inside Pass track day? He's about a 30-32 waist, 34 inseam. He's 5'11". I think we can rent them at the track but thought I'd send out a request.

Dan and I and our son will be out riding in the Evergreen area tomorrow (Sun). We'll be leaving Castle Rock around 11am (my son has to work until then), taking Deer Creek to Conifer down to Shadow Mtn and lunch in Evergreen.

If anyone will be out that way, hope to see ya. Have fun.

Well, due to weather we didn't do the Conifer/Evergreen trip. Took a short ride to Palmer Lake, had dinner at Rosie's Diner, then back. A little cool, but fun anyway. And of course, it's suppose to be in the 80's during the week.

Oh well, any time being on the bikes is great.

I am planning to ride to J2Blues house on Sunday in Canon City. He is having problems with his XB. I am not a XB expert (never really worked on one) so if anyone down South wants to take a little ride and knows XBs let me know....

If nothing else J2 still has his Blast so after a while troubleshooting we may just take off for a ride.
